CVE-2026-64081 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-03 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_ffa: Validate framework notification message layout Framework notifications carry an indirect message in the shared RX buffer. Validate the reported offset and size before using them, reject zero-length payloads, and ensure that any non-header payload starts at the UUID field rather than in the middle of the message header. Use the validated offset and size values for both kmemdup() and the UUID parsing path so malformed firmware data cannot drive an out-of-bounds read or an oversized allocation.
CVE-2026-64084 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-03 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) cap PDIO scan in get_multiple at ADM1266_PDIO_NR adm1266_gpio_get_multiple() iterates the PDIO portion of the caller-supplied mask using for_each_set_bit_from(gpio_nr, mask, ADM1266_GPIO_NR + ADM1266_PDIO_STATUS) { ... } where ADM1266_PDIO_STATUS is the PMBus command code (0xE9, i.e. 233), not the number of PDIO pins. The intended upper bound is ADM1266_GPIO_NR + ADM1266_PDIO_NR = 25. gpiolib hands in a mask sized for gc.ngpio (= 25 bits on this chip), so the iteration walks find_next_bit() up to 242, reading up to 217 extra bits (a handful of unsigned-long words: four on 64-bit, seven on 32-bit) of whatever lives past the end of the mask in the caller's stack. Any incidental set bit in that range then drives a set_bit(gpio_nr, bits) call that writes past the end of the caller-supplied bits array too -- both out-of-bounds. Substitute ADM1266_PDIO_NR for the constant so the scan stops at the last real PDIO bit.
CVE-2026-64053 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: don't overwrite bip_vcnt in bio_integrity_copy_user() bio_integrity_add_page() already sets bip_vcnt to 1 for the bounce segment. Overwriting it with nr_vecs breaks bip_vcnt <= bip_max_vcnt on WRITE (bip_max_vcnt is 1), so the gap-merge checks in block/blk.h read past the bip_vec[] flex array. On READ the read is in bounds but lands on a saved user bvec instead of the bounce. The line was added for split propagation, but bio_integrity_clone() doesn't copy bip_vcnt and BIP_CLONE_FLAGS excludes BIP_COPY_USER.
CVE-2026-54789 1 Openidc 1 Mod Auth Openidc 2026-09-02 7.5 High
mod_auth_openidc is an OpenID Certified authentication and authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that implements the OpenID Connect Relying Party functionality. Prior to 2.4.19.4, an out-of-bounds read and a one-byte out-of-bounds write exist in the state-cookie parser of `mod_auth_openidc`. The issue is fixed in version 2.4.19.4 by stopping the scan at the string terminator so a value-less token is rejected. No in-product workarounds are available. As a stop-gap, an upstream reverse proxy or WAF that rejects or normalizes malformed `Cookie` headers (tokens lacking `=`) can reduce exposure, but upgrading is the recommended remediation.

A maliciously crafted DWG or DXF file, when parsed through Autodesk AutoCAD, can force an Out-of-Bounds Read vulnerability. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash or disclose sensitive information.
CVE-2026-16465 1 Autodesk 11 Advance Steel, Autocad, Autocad Architecture and 8 more 2026-09-02 6.1 Medium
A maliciously crafted DWG or DXF file, when parsed through Autodesk AutoCAD, can force an Out-of-Bounds Read vulnerability. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash or disclose sensitive information.
CVE-2026-80101 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-09-02 4.4 Medium
A flaw was found in the file-xwd plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted XWD image file, the plugin validates the image width and bytes-per-line parameters independently rather than ensuring their combined values are consistent with the allocated buffer size. This incorrect validation leads to improper bounds checking, causing a heap out-of-bounds read. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents into the produced image.
CVE-2025-22104 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-09-02 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ibmvnic: Use kernel helpers for hex dumps Previously, when the driver was printing hex dumps, the buffer was cast to an 8 byte long and printed using string formatters. If the buffer size was not a multiple of 8 then a read buffer overflow was possible. Therefore, create a new ibmvnic function that loops over a buffer and calls hex_dump_to_buffer instead. This patch address KASAN reports like the one below: ibmvnic 30000003 env3: Login Buffer: ibmvnic 30000003 env3: 01000000af000000 <...> ibmvnic 30000003 env3: 2e6d62692e736261 ibmvnic 30000003 env3: 65050003006d6f63 ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ibmvnic_login+0xacc/0xffc [ibmvnic] Read of size 8 at addr c0000001331a9aa8 by task ip/17681 <...> Allocated by task 17681: <...> ibmvnic_login+0x2f0/0xffc [ibmvnic] ibmvnic_open+0x148/0x308 [ibmvnic] __dev_open+0x1ac/0x304 <...> The buggy address is located 168 bytes inside of allocated 175-byte region [c0000001331a9a00, c0000001331a9aaf) <...> ================================================================= ibmvnic 30000003 env3: 000000000033766e
CVE-2026-80685 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/util: don't read __page_2 for order-1 folios in snapshot_page() snapshot_page() currently reads __page_2 after checking nr_pages > 1, but it should only do so when nr_pages > 2. If an order-1 folio is allocated at the end of a vmemmap section, __page_2 will not exist and reading it will cause a fault. During DLPAR memory remove on a 22 TB ppc64le LPAR, snapshot_page() oopsed on the page isolation path while reading an order-1 folio's __page_2 from an adjacent absent section (unmapped vmemmap). Fix this to avoid reading memmap that doesn't exist (e.g., a vmemmap hole).
CVE-2025-71346 1 Sparklemotion 1 Nokogiri 2026-09-01 2.9 Low
This CVE ID has been rejected as a duplicate.
CVE-2026-84270 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-09-01 4.3 Medium
A flaw was found in the MTP backend in gvfs. When reading a file from a mounted MTP device, do_read() in gvfsbackendmtp.c trusts the data length returned by the device without limiting it to the original size requested by the client. If a malicious MTP device responds with more bytes than requested, this unrestricted length is passed directly to memcpy(). This causes the operation to read memory outside the intended boundaries. This allows an attacker who plugs in a malicious MTP device to cause a segmentation fault when a file is read and crash the gvfsd-mtp process, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-80634 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-01 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: avoid num_encaps underflow on bridge VLAN untag The DEV_PATH_BR_VLAN_UNTAG case post-decrements info->num_encaps inside WARN_ON_ONCE(). num_encaps is u8, so if it's already 0 the decrement still happens and wraps it to 255. The break only leaves the inner switch -- a later path entry can set info->indev back to a real device, and we end up returning with num_encaps == 255. nft_dev_forward_path() then walks info.encap[] (size 2) up to num_encaps, which means an OOB stack read and a bogus count copied into the route descriptor. Should only happen on a malformed bridge path stack, hence the WARN, but worth handling sanely. Move the decrement out of the WARN. [ While at this, remove the WARN_ON_ONCE since this can only happen with a buggy bridge path stack --pablo ].
CVE-2026-80635 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-01 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wcn36xx: fix OOB read from short trigger BA firmware response The firmware response length is only checked against sizeof(*rsp) (20 bytes), but when candidate_cnt >= 1, a 22-byte candidate struct is read at buf + 20 without verifying the response contains it. This causes an out-of-bounds read of stale heap data, corrupting the BA session state. Add validation that the response includes the candidate data.
CVE-2026-19315 1 Watchguard 1 Fireware Os 2026-09-01 N/A
A type confusion vulnerability in the iked process of WatchGuard Fireware OS allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted network traffic.

Out-of-bounds read for some Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software within Ring 2: Device Drivers may allow an escalation of privilege. Network adversary with an unauthenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via adjacent access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (low), integrity (low) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (low), integrity (low) and availability (low) impacts.
CVE-2026-40015 1 Open-xchange 2 Ox Dovecot Ce, Ox Dovecot Pro 2026-09-01 4.3 Medium
An attacker that has valid credentials can open many connections to the imap-hibernate service and send invalid commands, which can intermittently cause an out-of-bounds read and crash the process. The crash interrupts hibernated IMAP sessions handled by the affected process, which can cause degradation of service for IMAP. Disable IMAP hibernation. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.
CVE-2026-78475 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-09-01 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the file-pix (ESM) plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted PIX image file, the plugin allocates a Variable-Length Array (VLA) on the stack without proper bounds checking, causing an unbounded stack allocation followed by a 21-byte stack over-read. This can result in a denial of service due to stack exhaustion and a limited information disclosure of stack memory contents into an intermediate file.
CVE-2026-20778 1 Intel 19 Intel Proset Wireless Wifi Software For Windows, Killer Wi-fi 6 Ax1650i\/s, Killer Wi-fi 6e Ax1675i\/s and 16 more 2026-09-01 6.8 Medium
