CVE-2026-64364 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-10 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: multitouch: fix out-of-bounds bit access on mt_io_flags mt_io_flags is a single unsigned long, but mt_process_slot(), mt_release_pending_palms() and mt_release_contacts() use it as a per-slot bitmap indexed by the slot number. That slot number is only bounded by td->maxcontacts, which is taken from the device's ContactCountMaximum feature report and can be up to 255, not by BITS_PER_LONG. As a result, a multitouch device that advertises a large contact count makes set_bit()/clear_bit() operate past the mt_io_flags word and corrupt the adjacent members of struct mt_device. The sticky-fingers release timer is the easiest way to reach this. mt_release_contacts() runs for (i = 0; i < mt->num_slots; i++) clear_bit(i, &td->mt_io_flags); with num_slots == maxcontacts. For maxcontacts around 250 the loop clears the bits that overlap td->applications.next, zeroing that list head, and the list_for_each_entry() that immediately follows then dereferences NULL. The kernel panics from timer (softirq) context. On a KASAN build this shows up as a general protection fault in mt_release_contacts() with a null-ptr-deref at offset 0x58, which is offsetof(struct mt_application, num_received). The state is reachable from an untrusted USB or Bluetooth HID multitouch device; no local privileges are required. Store the per-slot active state in a separately allocated bitmap sized for maxcontacts, the same pattern already used for pending_palm_slots, and keep only MT_IO_FLAGS_RUNNING in mt_io_flags. The two "mt_io_flags & MT_IO_SLOTS_MASK" arming checks become bitmap_empty(td->active_slots, td->maxcontacts). Move MT_IO_FLAGS_RUNNING back to bit 0. It was bumped to bit 32 by the same commit to leave the low byte for the slot bits; with the slot bits gone it fits in bit 0 again, which also keeps it within the unsigned long on 32-bit.

CVE-2026-45747 2026-09-10 7.5 High
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to version 7.0.16, the Lua TLS certificate information helper could dereference NULL certificate fields when a Lua script requested certificate information for TLS traffic where some certificate fields were absent. Crafted TLS traffic processed by a deployment using affected Lua TLS scripting could crash Suricata, resulting in denial of service. Version 7.0.16 contains a fix. As a workaround, avoid Lua scripts that call TLS certificate information helpers on untrusted traffic (`TlsGetCertInfo` function), or update scripts to handle missing certificate fields where possible.
CVE-2026-80118 1 Passmark 3 Burnintest, Osforensics, Performancetest 2026-09-10 7.1 High
PassMark PerformanceTest before 11.1 build 1012, BurnInTest before 11.1 build 1000, and OSForensics before 11.1 build 1016 contain an unauthenticated physical memory disclosure in DirectIo64.sys, reachable by unprivileged local users through a single IOCTL with no caller-identity check. The handler writes a crash-dump-format (PAGEDU64) image of all physical memory to a caller-supplied file path in the SYSTEM context, allowing a standard user to create files in locations they cannot otherwise write and to recover memory belonging to processes of other users. The image is preceded by a header that exposes the kernel loaded-module list, active-process list and PFN database pointers, defeating KASLR. The same handler also dereferences the return value of an internal kernel-structure locator without a NULL check; that locator returns NULL on three distinct failure paths, and a kernel crash results on builds where any of those paths is taken.

CVE-2026-80917 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-09 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: host-generic: Fix NULL pointer dereference on 32-bit CAM systems On 32-bit systems the config space is too large to ioremap in one go, so pci_ecam_create() maps each bus segment separately and relies on the ->add_bus callback (pci_ecam_add_bus) to populate the per-bus mapping in cfg->winp[]. pci_ecam_map_bus() then uses that mapping as the base for every config access. The generic ECAM ops (pci_generic_ecam_ops) already provide the ->add_bus and ->remove_bus callbacks, but the CAM (legacy) ops in pci-host-generic.c do not. As a result, on a 32-bit host using "pci-host-cam-generic" the per-bus mapping is never set up and the first config read dereferences a NULL base, crashing during bus enumeration: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000800 Oops [#1] CPU: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper Not tainted 6.9.7+ #43 Hardware name: Digilent Nexys-Video-A7 RV32 (DT) epc : pci_generic_config_read+0x40/0xb0 ra : pci_generic_config_read+0x2c/0xb0 [<c038db9c>] pci_generic_config_read+0x40/0xb0 [<c038da04>] pci_bus_read_config_dword+0x50/0xb0 [<c0391e94>] pci_bus_generic_read_dev_vendor_id+0x3c/0x1ec [<c039245c>] pci_scan_single_device+0xa4/0x11c [<c0392570>] pci_scan_slot+0x9c/0x23c [<c039388c>] pci_scan_child_bus_extend+0x58/0x2f4 [<c0393db0>] pci_scan_root_bus_bridge+0x64/0xe8 [<c0393e54>] pci_host_probe+0x20/0xc8 [<c03bc6f4>] pci_host_common_probe+0x144/0x1e4 Fix this by giving the CAM ops the same ->add_bus/->remove_bus callbacks. Since pci_ecam_add_bus() and pci_ecam_remove_bus() are static to ecam.c, move the CAM ops definition there as pci_generic_cam_ops (mirroring pci_generic_ecam_ops) and export it for pci-host-generic.c to reference.
