CVE-2026-79971 1 Dell 1 Secure Connect Gateway 2026-09-09 5.3 Medium
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Sanitization of Custom Special Characters vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to script injection.
CVE-2026-9852 1 Hitachienergy 2 Microscada Sys600, Microscada X Sys600 2026-09-09 7.8 High
A CSV injection vulnerability exists in SYS600. Injected malicious formulas can add or modify data to the spreadsheet, insert links, exfiltrate data, and in some cases, depending on how the user has their environment configured, execute malicious code on the user’s machine. To exploit this issue attackers would need a way to create arbitrary log messages. This could be achieved through normal functionality via SCIL scripts, a log injection vulnerability, or via the SYS600 broker. This vulnerability affects all Windows users regardless of their privilege level who can run the Notify service and export the log.
CVE-2026-86745 1 Snipeitapp 1 Snipe-it 2026-09-09 6.5 Medium
Snipe-IT is an IT asset management application. In Snipe-IT master-branch builds after 8.6.3 (the code was never included in a tagged release), SettingsController::downloadLocationScopingReport streams the FMCS location-scoping mismatch report (GET /admin/settings/location-scoping-report.csv) through a bare fputcsv() call without applying League\Csv\EscapeFormula, unlike the other CSV exports which honor config('app.escape_formulas'). An authenticated user with ordinary create/edit rights can place a spreadsheet formula in free-text fields that appear in the report (item name, asset tag, serial, item or location company name, location name) and arrange for the record to be FMCS-mismatched so it is included in the export. When a superuser downloads the report and opens it in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets with formula evaluation enabled and external-content warnings dismissed or disabled, cells beginning with =, +, -, @, tab, or CR are executed in the victim's spreadsheet context, enabling data exfiltration (e.g., HYPERLINK/WEBSERVICE) or, on Windows Excel, legacy DDE command execution. This issue is fixed in version 8.7.0.
CVE-2026-86742 1 Snipeitapp 1 Snipe-it 2026-09-09 6.5 Medium
Snipe-IT through 8.6.3 does not neutralize formula elements in the "unaccepted assets" acceptance report CSV export. ReportsController::postAssetAcceptanceReport builds the CSV by hand (stripping commas and joining rows manually) and, unlike the six sibling exports in the same controller, never applies League\Csv\EscapeFormula or honors the config('app.escape_formulas') setting. An authenticated low-privilege user with ordinary create/edit rights on any record whose free-text fields appear in the report (asset name/tag, company name, category, model, or assignee display name) can set such a field to a value beginning with =, +, -, @, tab, or CR. When a user with reports.view privileges requests the export (POST /reports/unaccepted_assets) for a pending checkout acceptance referencing the poisoned record and opens the resulting CSV in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, the injected content is evaluated as a formula in the downloader's spreadsheet context, enabling data exfiltration (e.g., HYPERLINK/WEBSERVICE) or, on legacy Windows Excel configurations, DDE command execution. Fixed in 8.7.0.
CVE-2026-86257 1 Wger 1 Wger 2026-09-08 5.4 Medium
wger before 2.6 fails to sanitize first_name and last_name fields in the gym member TSV export endpoint, allowing any gym member to inject spreadsheet formulas. Attackers can inject formulas like =HYPERLINK to exfiltrate admin data or execute code when admins open the exported file in Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
CVE-2026-76797 1 Mongodb 1 Bi Connector Transition Readiness Report 2026-08-31 6.3 Medium
The MongoSQL Transition Readiness Tool writes database and collection names into its generated CSV reports without neutralizing leading characters that spreadsheet applications treat as formulas. A user with write privileges on the cluster can choose a namespace name that is later evaluated as a formula when an operator opens the generated report in a spreadsheet application, which may result in unintended disclosure of report contents or execution of external content on the operator's workstation. Generating a report for the affected namespace and opening it in a spreadsheet application is required.
CVE-2026-78209 2 Exceljs, Exceljs Project 2 Exceljs, Exceljs 2026-08-29 8.2 High
exceljs through 4.4.0 fails to neutralize leading equals, plus, minus, or at signs in cell values written to CSV output. Attackers who can influence exported cell values can inject formulas that execute when the CSV file is opened in a spreadsheet application, potentially exfiltrating data or performing other malicious actions.
CVE-2026-56652 1 Scottchiefbaker 1 Dool 2026-08-27 N/A
Dool in versions up to 1.3.8 is vulnerable to a CSV injection vulnerability when exporting data to a CSV file, as it fails to sanitize cell content beginning with special formula characters like =, +, -, or @. A local attacker can exploit this by running a process with a crafted name starting with =, which injects malicious formulas into the CSV output that execute when a victim opens the file in a spreadsheet application.  The issue was addressed by pull request #117
CVE-2026-19501 1 Sureforms 1 Sureforms 2026-08-21 8.8 High
CSV export functionality in Brainstorm Force SureForms version, <= 2.12.1, fails to neutralize spreadsheet formula characters in user-controlled form field names before generating CSV exports, which allows a remote attacker to execute spreadsheet formulas on an administrator's workstation when the exported CSV file is opened in a vulnerable spreadsheet application.
CVE-2025-66834 1 Trueconf 2 Server, Trueconf Server 2026-08-20 7.3 High
A CSV Formula Injection vulnerability in TrueConf Server v5.5.2.10813 allows a normal user to inject malicious spreadsheet formulas into exported chat logs via crafted Display Name.
CVE-2026-47705 1 Baptistearno 1 Typebot.io 2026-08-13 9.6 Critical
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Version 3.16.1 has a CSV injection vulnerability in the result export functionality. The application does not sanitize or escape user-supplied input when generating CSV files. An attacker can inject spreadsheet formulas into input fields, which are later executed when an administrator opens the exported CSV in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-64955 1 Rapid7 1 Velociraptor 2026-08-12 6.1 Medium
When Microsoft Excel imports a CSV file, it executes cells beginning with certain characters as formulas, giving such CSV files arbitrary execution.  Velociraptor fails to sanitize such cells when exporting to CSV from various places such as the GUI, offline collector or data exports. It is not clear if the vulnerability is actually in Microsoft Excel treating a CSV data file as executable content, or if Velociraptor should be sanitizing the data to prevent Excel from executing it. However, since this is such a common use case for Velociraptor we decided to highlight it in an advisory.
CVE-2026-18738 1 Shlink 1 Shlink 2026-08-05 4.7 Medium
Shlink versions 5.0.0 through 5.1.5 contain a CSV formula injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to plant spreadsheet formulas into exported visit data by supplying malicious values in User-Agent, Referer, or request path headers beginning with formula-triggering characters such as =, +, -, or @. Attackers can craft a single unauthenticated request against any short URL to embed DDE or WEBSERVICE formula payloads into CSV cells, which are then executed on an administrator's client machine when the exported CSV file is opened in a spreadsheet application that evaluates formulas.
CVE-2026-65875 1 Basercms Users Community 1 Basercms 2026-08-03 7.1 High
BaserCMS provided by baserCMS Users Community contains a CSV file injection vulnerability. If a user downloads and opens a CSV file containing malicious code injected by an attacker, the malicious code may be executed.
CVE-2026-54243 1 Statamic 1 Cms 2026-07-20 6.1 Medium
Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to 5.73.24 and 6.20.1, form submission values in src/Forms/Exporters/CsvExporter.php were not neutralized for spreadsheet formula characters when exported to CSV. A submission containing a value beginning with a formula trigger character, such as =, +, -, or @, could be interpreted as a live formula when a Control Panel user opens the export in a spreadsheet application. Form submissions can come from unauthenticated front-end visitors, so the malicious value can be supplied by an anonymous user and is later triggered by an editor opening the export. This issue is fixed in versions 5.73.24 and 6.20.1.
CVE-2026-14846 1 Prestashop 1 The Firmware 2026-07-13 N/A
In version 8.2.1 of PrestaShop, there is a vulnerability relating to the incorrect sanitisation of elements, caused by inadequate validation of the ‘Alias’ parameter in the ‘Update your address’ function. This flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious expressions that are executed when the information is exported using the ‘Get my data in CSV’ tool. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could facilitate unauthorised access to the victim’s personal data.
CVE-2026-55452 2 Grokability, Snipeitapp 2 Snipe-it, Snipe-it 2026-07-10 7.3 High
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.5.0, Actionlog::logaction() stores the request User-Agent header and ReportsController::postActivityReport() writes that value to the Activity Report CSV without formula escaping, allowing a low-privileged authenticated user to store a formula-like User-Agent that may execute when a report viewer opens the exported CSV in spreadsheet software. This issue is fixed in version 8.5.0.
CVE-2026-50179 1 Actualbudget 1 Actual 2026-07-09 4.2 Medium
Actual is a local-first personal finance tool. Prior to 26.6.0, exportToCSV and exportQueryToCSV in packages/loot-core/src/server/transactions/export/export-to-csv.ts pass user-controlled Payee, Notes, Account, and Category strings to csv-stringify with no cast callback and no formula-prefix neutralization. Strings that begin with equals sign, plus, minus, at sign, tab, or carriage return survive verbatim into the exported CSV, and when a recipient opens the file in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, the strings are interpreted as formulas, enabling transaction data exfiltration and attacker-chosen spreadsheet display values. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0.
CVE-2026-46672 1 Actualbudget 1 Actual 2026-07-08 4.6 Medium
Actual is a local-first personal finance app. Prior to 26.6.0, @actual-app/cli ships a hand-rolled CSV serializer in packages/cli/src/output.ts used whenever the global --format csv option is passed, whose escapeCsv helper only handles RFC 4180 delimiter, quote, and newline escaping and does not neutralize standard CSV formula-injection prefixes. Any CLI command that streams an object array containing user-controlled strings, including transactions list, accounts list, payees list, categories list, tags list, category-groups list, rules list, schedules list, and query, can emit cells that auto-evaluate when the resulting CSV is opened in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, enabling data exfiltration and arbitrary formula execution. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0.
CVE-2026-9673 1 Mrodrig 1 Json-2-csv 2026-07-03 6.8 Medium
Versions of the package json-2-csv from 3.15.0 and before 5.5.11 are vulnerable to CSV Injection via the preventCsvInjection option which can be bypassed. An attacker can inject formulas into CSV files, which execute when the files are opened in spreadsheet applications.
