CVE-2026-53555 1 Dataease 1 Sqlbot 2026-09-18 N/A
SQLBot is an intelligent Text-to-SQL system based on large language models and RAG. Prior to 1.9.0, an authenticated uploader can submit an image/svg+xml assistant UI logo through PATCH /api/v1/system/assistant/ui, and SQLBot stores the SVG without sanitizing or validating embedded active content. SQLBot later serves the file inline from the same application origin through GET /api/v1/system/assistant/picture/{filename}. When another user loads that generated resource, JavaScript embedded in the SVG executes in the SQLBot web application context, resulting in stored cross-site scripting with access to data and actions available to the victim's session. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0.
CVE-2026-53554 1 Dataease 1 Sqlbot 2026-09-18 N/A
SQLBot is an intelligent Text-to-SQL system based on large language models and RAG. Prior to 1.9.0, the POST /api/v1/datasource/parseExcel endpoint in backend/apps/datasource/api/datasource.py uses attacker-controlled multipart filename data when selecting where uploaded content is stored, writes the content before spreadsheet parsing and validation finish, and can transform a double-extension filename into a Python source file. An attacker able to submit a crafted multipart upload can use these behaviors to place attacker-controlled content in /opt/sqlbot/app/alembic/versions/ even when a spreadsheet parsing failure after the file write causes the endpoint to return an error. The planted file remains on disk, and subsequent SQLBot startup or migration processing causes Alembic to import the module and execute its module-level statements in the SQLBot application runtime. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0.
CVE-2026-53556 1 Dataease 1 Sqlbot 2026-09-18 N/A
SQLBot is an intelligent Text-to-SQL system based on large language models and RAG. Prior to 1.9.0, the POST /api/v1/datasource/previewData endpoint in backend/apps/datasource/crud/datasource.py incorporates the client-controlled table_name value into generated SQL without safe identifier handling. An authenticated user can configure a datasource for SQLBot's internal PostgreSQL service and submit a crafted table_name that remains a SELECT operation under the read-only policy while invoking pg_read_file(), pg_read_binary_file(), or pg_ls_dir(). In the default tested trusted loopback authentication configuration, the internal connection accepts invalid credentials and executes with PostgreSQL superuser privileges, allowing filesystem content such as /etc/hosts and /etc/passwd to be returned in the previewData API response and potentially exposing configuration, credentials, authentication secrets, and source code. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0.
CVE-2026-53557 1 Dataease 1 Sqlbot 2026-09-18 N/A
SQLBot is an intelligent Text-to-SQL system based on large language models and RAG. Prior to 1.9.0, an authenticated user can supply a crafted sheet["tableName"] value in the Excel datasource configuration submitted through POST /api/v1/datasource/, and SQLBot stores that value without safe identifier handling. When the same datasource is later removed through DELETE /api/v1/datasource/{id}, the stored value is interpolated into datasource cleanup SQL and executed by PostgreSQL. This second-order SQL injection can invoke PostgreSQL COPY TO PROGRAM and execute arbitrary operating-system commands with the privileges of the postgres process inside the SQLBot container. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0.
CVE-2026-72743 1 Dataease 1 Sqlbot 2026-08-11 5.4 Medium
SQLBot through 1.10.0, fixed in commit c3f40a5, contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the SQText dashboard component that renders TinyMCE output via v-html without sanitization. Attackers who can modify dashboard text widget content can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript that executes for all users viewing the dashboard.
CVE-2026-42463 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-05-15 8.1 High
SQLBot is an intelligent Text-to-SQL system based on large language models and RAG. Prior to 1.8.0, SQLBot contains a Cross-Workspace IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) and Authorization Bypass vulnerability in the /api/v1/datasource/exportDsSchema and /api/v1/datasource/uploadDsSchema endpoints. An attacker can access and modify database schemas and data sources belonging to other tenants/workspaces. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.0.
CVE-2026-33324 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-05-08 8.8 High
SQLBot is an intelligent Text-to-SQL system based on large language models and RAG. In versions 1.7.0 and earlier, the Text2SQL chat interface is vulnerable to prompt injection. The user-provided question parameter is directly concatenated into the LLM prompt without filtering or escaping, and the SQL extracted from the LLM response is executed against the database without validation or sanitization. An authenticated attacker can craft a malicious question to manipulate the LLM into generating and executing arbitrary SQL statements. When connected to a PostgreSQL data source, this can lead to remote code execution via COPY FROM PROGRAM. This issue has been fixed in version 1.7.1.
CVE-2026-5417 1 Dataease 1 Sqlbot 2026-04-24 4.7 Medium
A vulnerability was determined in Dataease SQLbot up to 1.6.0. This issue affects the function get_es_data_by_http of the file backend/apps/db/es_engine.py of the component Elasticsearch Handler. This manipulation of the argument address causes server-side request forgery. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Upgrading to version 1.7.0 is capable of addressing this issue. You should upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.
CVE-2026-32949 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-03-25 7.5 High
SQLBot is an intelligent data query system based on a large language model and RAG. Versions prior to 1.7.0 contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows an attacker to retrieve arbitrary system and application files from the server. An attacker can exploit the /api/v1/datasource/check endpoint by configuring a forged MySQL data source with a malicious parameter extraJdbc="local_infile=1". When the SQLBot backend attempts to verify the connectivity of this data source, an attacker-controlled Rogue MySQL server issues a malicious LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE command during the MySQL handshake. This forces the target server to read arbitrary files from its local filesystem (such as /etc/passwd or configuration files) and transmit the contents back to the attacker. This issue was fixed in version 1.7.0.
CVE-2026-32950 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-03-25 8.8 High
SQLBot is an intelligent data query system based on a large language model and RAG. Versions prior to 1.7.0 contain a critical SQL Injection vulnerability in the /api/v1/datasource/uploadExcel endpoint that enables Remote Code Execution (RCE), allowing any authenticated user (even the lowest-privileged) to fully compromise the backend server. The root cause is twofold: Excel Sheet names are concatenated directly into PostgreSQL table names without sanitization (datasource.py#L351), and those table names are embedded into COPY SQL statements via f-strings instead of parameterized queries (datasource.py#L385-L388). An attacker can bypass the 31-character Sheet name limit using a two-stage technique—first uploading a normal file whose data rows contain shell commands, then uploading an XML-tampered file whose Sheet name injects a TO PROGRAM 'sh' clause into the SQL. Confirmed impacts include arbitrary command execution as the postgres user (uid=999), sensitive file exfiltration (e.g., /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow), and complete PostgreSQL database takeover. This issue has been fixed in version 1.7.0.
CVE-2026-32622 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-03-25 8.8 High
SQLBot is an intelligent data query system based on a large language model and RAG. Versions 1.5.0 and below contain a Stored Prompt Injection vulnerability that chains three flaws: a missing permission check on the Excel upload API allowing any authenticated user to upload malicious terminology, unsanitized storage of terminology descriptions containing dangerous payloads, and a lack of semantic fencing when injecting terminology into the LLM's system prompt. Together, these flaws allow an attacker to hijack the LLM's reasoning to generate malicious PostgreSQL commands (e.g., COPY ... TO PROGRAM), ultimately achieving Remote Code Execution on the database or application server with postgres user privileges. The issue is fixed in v1.6.0.
CVE-2025-15598 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-03-05 3.7 Low
A vulnerability was found in Dataease SQLBot up to 1.5.1. This impacts the function validateEmbedded of the file backend/apps/system/middleware/auth.py of the component JWT Token Handler. Performing a manipulation results in improper verification of cryptographic signature. The attack can be initiated remotely. The attack is considered to have high complexity. The exploitability is said to be difficult. The exploit has been made public and could be used. A comment in the source code warns users about using this feature. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.
CVE-2025-15597 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-03-05 6.3 Medium
A vulnerability has been found in Dataease SQLBot up to 1.4.0. This affects an unknown function of the file backend/apps/system/api/assistant.py of the component API Endpoint. Such manipulation leads to improper access controls. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.5.0 mitigates this issue. The name of the patch is d640ac31d1ce64ce90e06cf7081163915c9fc28c. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. Multiple endpoints are affected. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.
CVE-2025-69285 2 Dataease, Fit2cloud 2 Sqlbot, Sqlbot 2026-02-02 6.1 Medium
SQLBot is an intelligent data query system based on a large language model and RAG. Versions prior to 1.5.0 contain a missing authentication vulnerability in the /api/v1/datasource/uploadExcel endpoint, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to upload arbitrary Excel/CSV files and inject data directly into the PostgreSQL database. The endpoint is explicitly added to the authentication whitelist, causing the TokenMiddleware to bypass all token validation. Uploaded files are parsed by pandas and inserted into the database via to_sql() with if_exists='replace' mode. The vulnerability has been fixed in v1.5.0. No known workarounds are available.
