CVE-2022-50178 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw89: 8852a: rfk: fix div 0 exception The DPK is a kind of RF calibration whose algorithm is to fine tune parameters and calibrate, and check the result. If the result isn't good enough, it could adjust parameters and try again. This issue is to read and show the result, but it could be a negative calibration result that causes divisor 0 and core dump. So, fix it by phy_div() that does division only if divisor isn't zero; otherwise, zero is adopted. divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP NOPTI CPU: 1 PID: 728 Comm: wpa_supplicant Not tainted 5.10.114-16019-g462a1661811a #1 <HASH:d024 28> RIP: 0010:rtw8852a_dpk+0x14ae/0x288f [rtw89_core] RSP: 0018:ffffa9bb412a7520 EFLAGS: 00010246 RAX: 0000000000000000 RBX: 0000000000000000 RCX: 0000000000000000 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 00000000000180fc RDI: ffffa141d01023c0 RBP: ffffa9bb412a76a0 R08: 0000000000001319 R09: 00000000ffffff92 R10: ffffffffc0292de3 R11: ffffffffc00d2f51 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: ffffa141d01023c0 R14: ffffffffc0290250 R15: ffffa141d0102638 FS: 00007fa99f5c2740(0000) GS:ffffa142e5e80000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 0000000013e8e010 CR3: 0000000110d2c000 CR4: 0000000000750ee0 PKRU: 55555554 Call Trace: rtw89_core_sta_add+0x95/0x9c [rtw89_core <HASH:d239 29>] rtw89_ops_sta_state+0x5d/0x108 [rtw89_core <HASH:d239 29>] drv_sta_state+0x115/0x66f [mac80211 <HASH:81fe 30>] sta_info_insert_rcu+0x45c/0x713 [mac80211 <HASH:81fe 30>] sta_info_insert+0xf/0x1b [mac80211 <HASH:81fe 30>] ieee80211_prep_connection+0x9d6/0xb0c [mac80211 <HASH:81fe 30>] ieee80211_mgd_auth+0x2aa/0x352 [mac80211 <HASH:81fe 30>] cfg80211_mlme_auth+0x160/0x1f6 [cfg80211 <HASH:00cd 31>] nl80211_authenticate+0x2e5/0x306 [cfg80211 <HASH:00cd 31>] genl_rcv_msg+0x371/0x3a1 ? nl80211_stop_sched_scan+0xe5/0xe5 [cfg80211 <HASH:00cd 31>] ? genl_rcv+0x36/0x36 netlink_rcv_skb+0x8a/0xf9 genl_rcv+0x28/0x36 netlink_unicast+0x27b/0x3a0 netlink_sendmsg+0x2aa/0x469 sock_sendmsg_nosec+0x49/0x4d ____sys_sendmsg+0xe5/0x213 __sys_sendmsg+0xec/0x157 ? syscall_enter_from_user_mode+0xd7/0x116 do_syscall_64+0x43/0x55 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x44/0xa9 RIP: 0033:0x7fa99f6e689b
CVE-2025-38567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-26 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: avoid ref leak in nfsd_open_local_fh() If two calls to nfsd_open_local_fh() race and both successfully call nfsd_file_acquire_local(), they will both get an extra reference to the net to accompany the file reference stored in *pnf. One of them will fail to store (using xchg()) the file reference in *pnf and will drop that reference but WON'T drop the accompanying reference to the net. This leak means that when the nfs server is shut down it will hang in nfsd_shutdown_net() waiting for &nn->nfsd_net_free_done. This patch adds the missing nfsd_net_put().
CVE-2025-38632 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-26 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinmux: fix race causing mux_owner NULL with active mux_usecount commit 5a3e85c3c397 ("pinmux: Use sequential access to access desc->pinmux data") tried to address the issue when two client of the same gpio calls pinctrl_select_state() for the same functionality, was resulting in NULL pointer issue while accessing desc->mux_owner. However, issue was not completely fixed due to the way it was handled and it can still result in the same NULL pointer. The issue occurs due to the following interleaving: cpu0 (process A) cpu1 (process B) pin_request() { pin_free() { mutex_lock() desc->mux_usecount--; //becomes 0 .. mutex_unlock() mutex_lock(desc->mux) desc->mux_usecount++; // becomes 1 desc->mux_owner = owner; mutex_unlock(desc->mux) mutex_lock(desc->mux) desc->mux_owner = NULL; mutex_unlock(desc->mux) This sequence leads to a state where the pin appears to be in use (`mux_usecount == 1`) but has no owner (`mux_owner == NULL`), which can cause NULL pointer on next pin_request on the same pin. Ensure that updates to mux_usecount and mux_owner are performed atomically under the same lock. Only clear mux_owner when mux_usecount reaches zero and no new owner has been assigned.

CVE-2025-53092 1 Strapi 1 Strapi 2025-11-25 6.5 Medium
Strapi is an open source headless content management system. Strapi versions prior to 5.20.0 contain a CORS misconfiguration vulnerability in default installations. By default, Strapi reflects the value of the Origin header back in the Access-Control-Allow-Origin response header without proper validation or whitelisting. This allows an attacker-controlled site to send credentialed requests to the Strapi backend. An attacker can exploit this by hosting a malicious site on a different origin (e.g., different port) and sending requests with credentials to the Strapi API. The vulnerability is fixed in version 5.20.0. No known workarounds exist.
CVE-2018-12392 4 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla and 1 more 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 8 more 2025-11-25 N/A
When manipulating user events in nested loops while opening a document through script, it is possible to trigger a potentially exploitable crash due to poor event handling. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 63, Firefox ESR < 60.3, and Thunderbird < 60.3.
CVE-2014-1490 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more 2025-11-25 N/A
Race condition in libssl in Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) before 3.15.4, as used in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.3, Thunderbird before 24.3, SeaMonkey before 2.24, and other products, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free) or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors involving a resumption handshake that triggers incorrect replacement of a session ticket.
CVE-2024-45310 5 Docker, Kubernetes, Linux and 2 more 5 Docker, Kubernetes, Linux Kernel and 2 more 2025-11-25 3.6 Low
runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers according to the OCI specification. runc 1.1.13 and earlier, as well as 1.2.0-rc2 and earlier, can be tricked into creating empty files or directories in arbitrary locations in the host filesystem by sharing a volume between two containers and exploiting a race with `os.MkdirAll`. While this could be used to create empty files, existing files would not be truncated. An attacker must have the ability to start containers using some kind of custom volume configuration. Containers using user namespaces are still affected, but the scope of places an attacker can create inodes can be significantly reduced. Sufficiently strict LSM policies (SELinux/Apparmor) can also in principle block this attack -- we suspect the industry standard SELinux policy may restrict this attack's scope but the exact scope of protection hasn't been analysed. This is exploitable using runc directly as well as through Docker and Kubernetes. The issue is fixed in runc v1.1.14 and v1.2.0-rc3. Some workarounds are available. Using user namespaces restricts this attack fairly significantly such that the attacker can only create inodes in directories that the remapped root user/group has write access to. Unless the root user is remapped to an actual user on the host (such as with rootless containers that don't use `/etc/sub[ug]id`), this in practice means that an attacker would only be able to create inodes in world-writable directories. A strict enough SELinux or AppArmor policy could in principle also restrict the scope if a specific label is applied to the runc runtime, though neither the extent to which the standard existing policies block this attack nor what exact policies are needed to sufficiently restrict this attack have been thoroughly tested.
CVE-2023-53166 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-24 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: bq25890: Fix external_power_changed race bq25890_charger_external_power_changed() dereferences bq->charger, which gets sets in bq25890_power_supply_init() like this: bq->charger = devm_power_supply_register(bq->dev, &bq->desc, &psy_cfg); As soon as devm_power_supply_register() has called device_add() the external_power_changed callback can get called. So there is a window where bq25890_charger_external_power_changed() may get called while bq->charger has not been set yet leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This race hits during boot sometimes on a Lenovo Yoga Book 1 yb1-x90f when the cht_wcove_pwrsrc (extcon) power_supply is done with detecting the connected charger-type which happens to exactly hit the small window: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000018 <snip> RIP: 0010:__power_supply_is_supplied_by+0xb/0xb0 <snip> Call Trace: <TASK> __power_supply_get_supplier_property+0x19/0x50 class_for_each_device+0xb1/0xe0 power_supply_get_property_from_supplier+0x2e/0x50 bq25890_charger_external_power_changed+0x38/0x1b0 [bq25890_charger] __power_supply_changed_work+0x30/0x40 class_for_each_device+0xb1/0xe0 power_supply_changed_work+0x5f/0xe0 <snip> Fixing this is easy. The external_power_changed callback gets passed the power_supply which will eventually get stored in bq->charger, so bq25890_charger_external_power_changed() can simply directly use the passed in psy argument which is always valid.

CVE-2025-38297 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PM: EM: Fix potential division-by-zero error in em_compute_costs() When the device is of a non-CPU type, table[i].performance won't be initialized in the previous em_init_performance(), resulting in division by zero when calculating costs in em_compute_costs(). Since the 'cost' algorithm is only used for EAS energy efficiency calculations and is currently not utilized by other device drivers, we should add the _is_cpu_device(dev) check to prevent this division-by-zero issue.

CVE-2025-38492 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-19 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix race between cache write completion and ALL_QUEUED being set When netfslib is issuing subrequests, the subrequests start processing immediately and may complete before we reach the end of the issuing function. At the end of the issuing function we set NETFS_RREQ_ALL_QUEUED to indicate to the collector that we aren't going to issue any more subreqs and that it can do the final notifications and cleanup. Now, this isn't a problem if the request is synchronous (NETFS_RREQ_OFFLOAD_COLLECTION is unset) as the result collection will be done in-thread and we're guaranteed an opportunity to run the collector. However, if the request is asynchronous, collection is primarily triggered by the termination of subrequests queuing it on a workqueue. Now, a race can occur here if the app thread sets ALL_QUEUED after the last subrequest terminates. This can happen most easily with the copy2cache code (as used by Ceph) where, in the collection routine of a read request, an asynchronous write request is spawned to copy data to the cache. Folios are added to the write request as they're unlocked, but there may be a delay before ALL_QUEUED is set as the write subrequests may complete before we get there. If all the write subreqs have finished by the ALL_QUEUED point, no further events happen and the collection never happens, leaving the request hanging. Fix this by queuing the collector after setting ALL_QUEUED. This is a bit heavy-handed and it may be sufficient to do it only if there are no extant subreqs. Also add a tracepoint to cross-reference both requests in a copy-to-request operation and add a trace to the netfs_rreq tracepoint to indicate the setting of ALL_QUEUED.

CVE-2025-38519 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon: fix divide by zero in damon_get_intervals_score() The current implementation allows having zero size regions with no special reasons, but damon_get_intervals_score() gets crashed by divide by zero when the region size is zero. [ 29.403950] Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI This patch fixes the bug, but does not disallow zero size regions to keep the backward compatibility since disallowing zero size regions might be a breaking change for some users. In addition, the same crash can happen when intervals_goal.access_bp is zero so this should be fixed in stable trees as well.
