CVSS v3.1 |
Uploadify WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.0 contain an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in process_upload.php due to missing file type validation. An unauthenticated remote attacker can upload arbitrary files to the affected WordPress site, which may allow remote code execution by uploading executable content to a web-accessible location.
The WordPress plugin is-human <= v1.4.2 contains an eval injection vulnerability in /is-human/engine.php that can be triggered via the 'type' parameter when the 'action' parameter is set to 'log-reset'. The root cause is unsafe use of eval() on user-controlled input, which can lead to execution of attacker-supplied PHP and OS commands. This may result in arbitrary code execution as the webserver user, site compromise, or data exfiltration. The is-human plugin was made defunct in June 2008 and is no longer available for download. This vulnerability was exploited in the wild in March 2012.
WordPress 3.5 through 6.8.2 allows remote attackers to guess titles of private and draft posts via pingback.ping XML-RPC requests. NOTE: the Supplier is not changing this behavior.
The Simple Page Access Restriction plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.29 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to higher-level roles such as logged-in users.
The AI Engine plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.3 via the /mcp/v1/ REST API endpoint that exposes the 'Bearer Token' value when 'No-Auth URL' is enabled. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the bearer token, which can be used to gain access to a valid session and perform many actions like creating a new administrator account, leading to privilege escalation.
The Ultimate Addons for WPBakery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to 3.21.1 (exclusive) due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Five9 Live Chat plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'toolbar' attribute of the [five9-chat] shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The VK All in One Expansion Unit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'vkExUnit_sns_title' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 9.112.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The WP AD Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'startindex' parameter of the ad-gallery shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Material Design Iconic Font Integration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'mdiconic' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The WP BBCode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'url' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Slippy Slider – Responsive Touch Navigation Slider plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'slippy-slider' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The ST Categories Widget plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's st-categories shortcode in versions less than, or equal to, 1.0.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Supervisor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on several AJAX functions in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update various plugin settings.
The Team Members Showcase WordPress plugin before 3.5.0 does not sanitize and escape a parameter before outputting it back in the page, leading to reflected cross-site scripting, which could be used against high-privilege users such as admins.
The WP Freeio plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.21. This is due to the process_register() function not restricting what user roles a user can register with. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to supply the 'administrator' role during registration and gain administrator access to the site.
The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to allowing them to modify their own role via the REST API. The permission check in the update_item_permissions_check() function returns true when a user updates their own account without verifying the role changes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with student-level access and above, to escalate their privileges to administrator by updating their own roles array via a crafted REST API request. Another endpoint intended for instructors also provides an attack vector. Affected version ranges are 3.5.3-3.41.2, 4.0.0-4.21.3, 5.0.0-5.10.0, 6.0.0-6.11.0, 7.0.0-7.8.7, 8.0.0-8.0.7, 9.0.0-9.0.7, 9.1.0.
The ShortPixel Image Optimizer – Optimize Images, Convert WebP & AVIF plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the 'shortpixel_ajaxRequest' AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to export and import site options.
The Responsive Lightbox & Gallery WordPress plugin before 2.6.1 is vulnerable to an Unauthenticated Stored-XSS attack due to flawed regex replacement rules that can be abused by posting a comment with a malicious link when lightbox for comments are enabled and then approved.
The Royal Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin before 1.7.1037 does not have proper authorisation, allowing unauthenticated users to upload media files via the wpr_addons_upload_file action.
