CVSS v3.1 |
The Translate WordPress with GTranslate WordPress plugin before 3.0.10 does not validate one of its settings before the bundled front-end scripts build markup from it, allowing users with a role as high as administrator to store JavaScript that runs in the session of any visitor to the site.
AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Bookmark plugin where chapter names are not encoded before being concatenated into public watch-page HTML. A video owner can inject malicious scripts via the bookmark name parameter, and every visitor of that video executes the payload in the AVideo origin.
AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the CustomizeUser plugin where the field_name parameter is stored raw without sanitization. Administrators can inject malicious scripts via the add.json.php endpoint that execute when viewing extra info pages or profile forms that render the typeToHTML function.
AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the YPTWallet plugin where user-supplied CryptoWallet values are base64-encoded but not HTML-escaped before storage in wallet_log.information. Administrators viewing pending withdrawal requests in pendingRequests.php execute the stored markup in their session, allowing attackers to perform administrative actions via same-origin fetch requests.
WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in plugin/Gallery/view/Category.php when SubCategorys is enabled. The getBackURL parameter is echoed into an href attribute without HTML encoding, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute in visitors' browsers when they interact with the Back control.
WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in confirmLivePassword.php that copies REQUEST_URI into a form action attribute without encoding. Attackers can craft a malicious URL with a quote character to break out of the action attribute and inject event handlers that execute in the victim's browser within the site origin.
WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in plugin/Live/confirmLivePassword.php. The script interpolates the unauthenticated GET parameter u (which is not covered by $securityFilter) directly into an <img src="..."> attribute without URL- or HTML-encoding. A remote attacker can craft a link containing a double-quote character in u (with a non-empty key parameter and no valid c parameter) to close the src attribute and inject an additional tag with an onerror handler, executing arbitrary JavaScript in the site's origin in the browser of any user, including an administrator, who opens the link. No patched version was available at the time of the advisory.
WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the showAlertMessage() function that inserts the raw Referer header into a JavaScript comment without encoding. Attackers can craft a Referer header containing */ to close the comment and inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the site origin for visitors arriving from the attacker-controlled page.
The Aruba HiSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.14 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Adobe Experience Manager is affected by a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this issue by manipulating the DOM environment to execute malicious JavaScript within the context of the victim's browser. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a crafted webpage. Scope is changed.
Adobe Experience Manager is affected by a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. Scope is changed.
Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in WPCS <= 1.3.2 versions.
| MISP contains an HTML injection vulnerability in the MISPElementHTMLFormatterTool component, which is responsible for rendering MISP element references (attributes, objects, and tags) into inline HTML during PDF report export via the convert_markdown_to_pdf module. The attribute(), objectAttribute(), object(), and tag() methods interpolated user-controlled fields (attribute type, attribute value, object name, object relation, tag name, tag colour, and tag text colour) directly into HTML templates without applying HTML entity encoding. An authenticated user with the ability to create or modify MISP attributes, objects, or tags could embed arbitrary HTML markup in these fields. When a report containing such elements was exported to PDF, the unescaped content was rendered as live HTML rather than inert text, potentially injecting script tags, breaking the document structure, or altering the visual content of the exported report. Additionally, the attribute() method contained a template with hardcoded sample values ("domain-ip" and "google.com") instead of format placeholders, meaning every plain attribute reference in a PDF displayed the sample text rather than the actual indicator value, constituting a data-integrity defect in the exported document. The vulnerability requires an authenticated actor with write access to MISP elements and a subsequent PDF export of a report referencing those elements. The security impact is primarily to the integrity of the exported document and, depending on the HTML-to-PDF rendering engine, potential execution of injected markup during the conversion step.

Subscriber Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in WP Docs <= 2.3.1 versions.
Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in WPAdverts <= 2.3.3 versions.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.0, Angular's compiler and runtime in @angular/core and @angular/compiler could omit or select an incorrect sanitizer for security-sensitive directive host bindings because SecurityContext was derived from the declaring directive or component selector rather than the concrete host element. The mismatch is reachable through hostDirectives composition, inherited HostBinding declarations, createComponent with a custom hostElement or dynamic directives, SVG/MathML namespace elements, and tag-neutral selectors such as :not(...). Attacker-controlled href, src, action, xlink:href, or data values can therefore reach DOM attributes without Angular's built-in sanitizer and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the user's browser context. Applications unable to upgrade can use DomSanitizer.sanitize with SecurityContext.URL before assignment or restrict inputs to validated HTTP and HTTPS URL schemes. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.0.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes untrusted input inside template content nested in fallback raw-content elements such as noscript, iframe, noembed, and noframes. The Domino serializer's fallbackRawContentTags traversal stopped at the DocumentFragment used by template.content, so matching closing tags in xmp, style, script, comments, or text nodes were not escaped. Standard interpolation with comments or text nodes is reachable without relaxed schemas; literal xmp or style requires CUSTOM_ELEMENTS_SCHEMA or NO_ERRORS_SCHEMA, while Renderer2 imperative DOM construction is unconditionally affected. When HTML5 RAWTEXT browser parsing encounters the unescaped closing tag, it exits the fallback container and interprets trailing markup as active DOM elements, enabling arbitrary JavaScript execution. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4.
AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. In 1.16.1 and earlier, the manager role can store meta_page_title or meta_page_favicon through /api/admin/system-preferences, and MetaGenerator inserts those values into production homepage HTML without escaping attribute values or text content. The values pass unchanged through server/models/systemSettings.js and reach MetaGenerator.generate() in server/index.js. #assembleMeta() in server/utils/boot/MetaGenerator.js concatenates the stored values into HTML. When an administrator visits the homepage /, injected JavaScript can read the administrator JWT and use it to create API keys, access or modify workspace and chat data, delete users, and perform other administrator actions. server/endpoints/admin.js accepts the manager-controlled settings before server/models/systemSettings.js returns them unchanged. No fixed version is available as of this review.
The Media Library Assistant plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the bulk edit preset export/import mechanism in versions up to and including 3.35. This is due to insufficient output escaping on preset field values when they are rendered in HTML attribute contexts in the mla_generate_bulk_edit_form_fieldsets() function and mla-bulk-edit-fieldsets.tpl template. While wp_kses() filtering is applied during preset export for users without unfiltered_html capability, this does not prevent attribute injection attacks since the malicious payload consists of quotes and HTML attributes rather than HTML tags. When preset values are retrieved and rendered, they are directly assigned to template variables without esc_attr() escaping and then inserted into input element value attributes via simple string replacement. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above (upload_files capability), to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator imports the poisoned preset and the targeted input field receives focus.
The Media Library Assistant plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'mla_gallery' shortcode in versions up to and including 3.35. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the mla_link_href parameter when mla_output is set to 'paginate_links', where the _paginate_links() function processes the value through mla_process_shortcode_parameter() and _replace_query_parameter() without proper URL escaping, then outputs it directly in href attributes without applying esc_url(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
