CVE-2021-47551 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/amdkfd: Fix kernel panic when reset failed and been triggered again In SRIOV configuration, the reset may failed to bring asic back to normal but stop cpsch already been called, the start_cpsch will not be called since there is no resume in this case. When reset been triggered again, driver should avoid to do uninitialization again.
CVE-2021-47492 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 1 more 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm, thp: bail out early in collapse_file for writeback page Currently collapse_file does not explicitly check PG_writeback, instead, page_has_private and try_to_release_page are used to filter writeback pages. This does not work for xfs with blocksize equal to or larger than pagesize, because in such case xfs has no page->private. This makes collapse_file bail out early for writeback page. Otherwise, xfs end_page_writeback will panic as follows. page:fffffe00201bcc80 refcount:0 mapcount:0 mapping:ffff0003f88c86a8 index:0x0 pfn:0x84ef32 aops:xfs_address_space_operations [xfs] ino:30000b7 dentry name:"libtest.so" flags: 0x57fffe0000008027(locked|referenced|uptodate|active|writeback) raw: 57fffe0000008027 ffff80001b48bc28 ffff80001b48bc28 ffff0003f88c86a8 raw: 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff ffff0000c3e9a000 page dumped because: VM_BUG_ON_PAGE(((unsigned int) page_ref_count(page) + 127u <= 127u)) page->mem_cgroup:ffff0000c3e9a000 ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel BUG at include/linux/mm.h:1212! CVE-2026-44878 1 Hpe 1 Edgeconnect Sd-wan Gateway 2026-07-30 7.2 High
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of an ECOS device could allow a highly privileged, authenticated remote attacker to access the device's filesystem. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to access sensitive files and tamper with or delete system data.
CVE-2026-62294 1 Flameshot-org 1 Flameshot 2026-07-27 N/A
Flameshot is powerful yet simple to use screenshot software. Prior to 14.0.0, the Open With feature wrote screenshots to a predictable temporary path and followed symlinks, creating a time-of-check to time-of-use race that allowed a local unprivileged attacker on the same machine to pre-plant a symlink and cause Flameshot to write PNG data through it, overwriting any file the victim user could write. This issue is fixed in version 14.0.0.
CVE-2026-14551 1 Servereye 1 Windows Agent (sensorhub) 2026-07-23 8.8 High
The servereye client (also known as sensorhub, technically ClientAgentContainerService) versions 20.15 and earlier are vulnerable to Local Privilege Escalation. The high-privileged service SE3Recovery (EmergencyRecoveryService.exe), running as SYSTEM, periodically monitors the directory %ProgramData%\ServerEye3\update\ for a trigger file named "update_available". Due to insufficient access restrictions on this directory, a local standard user can create the trigger file and provide a path to a directory containing malicious JSON instructions. The service subsequently executes the utility UpdaterAction.exe with SYSTEM privileges, which parses the instructions and performs an unvalidated file copy from a user-controlled source to a protected system destination (e.g., overwriting a service binary). This leads to full system compromise as the service automatically restarts the overwritten binary with SYSTEM privileges.
CVE-2026-14685 1 Hdrhistogram 1 Hdrhistogram 2026-07-16 3.3 Low
A vulnerability has been found in HdrHistogram up to 2.2.2. This vulnerability affects the function recordValueWithCount of the file src/main/java/org/HdrHistogram/AbstractHistogram.java of the component AbstractHistogram. Such manipulation of the argument Count leads to state issue. The attack can only be performed from a local environment. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The existence of this vulnerability is still disputed at present. This issue is disputed due to the potential lack of crossing of security boundaries and the pre-requisites for a successful attack.
CVE-2019-25677 1 Rarlab 1 Winrar 2026-07-15 6.2 Medium
WinRAR 5.61 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by placing a malformed winrar.lng language file in the installation directory. Attackers can trigger the crash by opening an archive and pressing the test button, causing an access violation at memory address 004F1DB8 when the application attempts to read invalid data.
CVE-2026-46388 1 Osquery 1 Osquery 2026-07-10 4.4 Medium
osquery is a SQL powered operating system instrumentation, monitoring, and analytics framework. Prior to 5.23.1, an unprivileged attacker can read the contents of an osquery file carve until the carve completes and the temporary files are deleted because in-progress carve directories are not created with private permissions. If the carve targets a directory that the attacker controls, arbitrary file reads are possible, such as sensitive local files. This issue is fixed in version 5.23.1.
CVE-2026-43219 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cpsw_new: Fix potential unregister of netdev that has not been registered yet If an error occurs during register_netdev() for the first MAC in cpsw_register_ports(), even though cpsw->slaves[0].ndev is set to NULL, cpsw->slaves[1].ndev would remain unchanged. This could later cause cpsw_unregister_ports() to attempt unregistering the second MAC. To address this, add a check for ndev->reg_state before calling unregister_netdev(). With this change, setting cpsw->slaves[i].ndev to NULL becomes unnecessary and can be removed accordingly.
CVE-2026-46406 2 Anthropic, Anthropics 2 Claude Code, Claude Code 2026-06-29 6.1 Medium
Claude Code is an agentic coding tool. From 2.1.59 until 2.1.128, the Claude Code /copy command wrote responses to a hardcoded, predictable path (/tmp/claude/response.md) without UID isolation, randomness, or symlink protection. The file was created world-readable (0644) in a world-traversable directory (0755), allowing any local user to read a privileged user's Claude response, which could contain secrets or credentials. Additionally, because the path was static and predictable, a local attacker could pre-create the directory and plant a symlink at the expected file path, causing the privileged process to follow the symlink and overwrite an attacker-chosen file with the response text. Exploiting this required a local unprivileged user on the same system and a privileged user to run the /copy command. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.128.
CVE-2026-41991 1 Gnu 1 Gzip 2026-06-29 4.7 Medium
GNU gzip contains a vulnerability in the gzexe utility related to insecure temporary file handling. When the mktemp utility is not available in the user’s PATH, gzexe falls back to constructing a temporary file path based solely on the process ID (PID). This predictable filename is created without exclusive access or existence checks. A local attacker can pre‑create the predicted temporary file path as a symbolic link pointing to an arbitrary file writable by the victim. When gzexe runs, it follows the symlink and overwrites the target file, resulting in a time‑of‑check to time‑of‑use (TOCTOU) condition that allows arbitrary file overwrite. This issue has been fixed in the commit 4e6f8b24ab823146ab8776f0b7fe486ab34d4269
CVE-2026-7539 1 Hp Inc. 1 Hp Dock Accessory 2026-06-26 N/A
A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the HP Accessory WMI Provider installer for some HP Docking Stations, which might allow escalation of privilege and/or arbitrary code execution. HP is releasing software updates to mitigate the potential vulnerability.
CVE-2026-54328 1 Earendil-works 1 Pi 2026-06-24 7.3 High
Pi is a minimal terminal coding harness. From 0.74.0 until 0.78.1, Pi versions with temporary npm or git extension package installs used predictable paths under the operating system temporary directory. On Linux-based multi-user systems, a local attacker who can write to the shared temporary directory could prepare the expected package location before another user runs pi with a temporary extension package source. Pi could then load attacker-controlled extension code in the victim user's process. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.78.1.
CVE-2026-45384 1 Rikyoz 1 Bit7z 2026-06-11 6.1 Medium
bit7z is a cross-platform C++ static library that allows the compression/extraction of archive files. Prior to version 4.0.12, there is an arbitrary file overwrite vulnerability via symlink attack on predictable temp files during archive update. This issue has been patched in version 4.0.12.
CVE-2026-46192 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: microchip-core-qspi: don't attempt to transmit during emulated read-only dual/quad operations The core will deal with reads by creating clock cycles itself, there's no need to generate clock cycles by transmitting garbage data at the driver level. Further, transmitting garbage data just bricks the transfer since QSPI doesn't have a dedicated master-out line like MOSI in regular SPI. I'm not entirely sure if the transfer is bricked because of the garbage data being transmitted on the bus or because the core loses track of whether it is supposed to be sending or receiving data.
CVE-2026-46206 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: reject new tp_meter sessions during teardown Prevent tp_meter from starting new sender or receiver sessions after mesh_state has left BATADV_MESH_ACTIVE.
CVE-2026-49134 1 Steipete 1 Codexbar 2026-06-02 7.1 High
CodexBar prior to 0.32.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the CLI installer that allows local attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root by exploiting a race condition in temporary file handling. The installer creates a temporary file with mktemp, writes a privileged shell payload into it, and executes it with administrator privileges via bash, allowing a same-user local process to rewrite the installer body before the administrator prompt is approved, causing attacker-controlled commands to run as root.
CVE-2026-49135 1 Steipete 1 Codexbar 2026-06-02 7.1 High
CodexBar prior to 0.32.0 contains an insecure temporary file handling vulnerability that allows local attackers to access sensitive credentials or tamper with build artifacts by exploiting predictable file paths in the release notarization workflow. Attackers with access to the same host can read the App Store Connect API key written to a fixed path, pre-create files or symbolic links at predictable locations to redirect writes to attacker-controlled destinations, or tamper with notarization archives before submission.
CVE-2026-4137 2 Lfprojects, Mlflow 2 Mlflow, Mlflow/mlflow 2026-06-02 7.8 High
In mlflow/mlflow versions prior to 3.11.0, the `get_or_create_nfs_tmp_dir()` function in `mlflow/utils/file_utils.py` creates temporary directories with world-writable permissions (0o777), and the `_create_model_downloading_tmp_dir()` function in `mlflow/pyfunc/__init__.py` creates directories with group-writable permissions (0o770). These insecure permissions allow local attackers to tamper with model artifacts, such as cloudpickle-serialized Python objects, and achieve arbitrary code execution when the tampered artifacts are deserialized via `cloudpickle.load()`. This vulnerability is particularly critical in environments with shared NFS mounts, such as Databricks, where NFS is enabled by default. The issue is a continuation of the vulnerability class addressed in CVE-2025-10279, which was only partially fixed.
CVE-2026-46108 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi:si: Return state to normal if message allocation fails There were places where nothing would get started if a message allocation failed, so the driver needs to return to normal state.
