| Use after free in Windows Authentication Methods allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A divide-by-zero vulnerability in the gf_dash_get_timeline_duration function (src/media_tools/dash_client.c) of GPAC v26.07.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted MPD SegmentTimeline. Fixed in 2fd5a06ab226767900fd86edb5a1e8bfc1010640. |
| A flaw was found in the admin backend of gvfs. The privileged gvfsd-admin daemon changes the ownership of newly created private D-Bus sockets by calling the link-following chown() function on a pathname inside a user-controlled directory. A local attacker can exploit this via a Time-of-Check Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition and exchange the socket pathname with a symbolic link pointing to an arbitrary root-owned file (such as /etc/pam.d/su). The daemon subsequently follows the symlink and changes the ownership of the targeted root-owned file to the attacker's user ID. This allows an authenticated local attacker to modify critical system files, leading to a full local privilege escalation to root. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in jofpin trape 2.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file core/user.py of the component Telemetry Endpoint. Such manipulation of the argument vId leads to race condition. The attack can be executed remotely. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. It is stated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the silabser.sys Windows 8 driver for CP210x devices, a local unprivileged user can use incorrect driver settings to cause a kernel crash. |
| Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to redeem one confirmed on-chain payment for multiple paid-resource accesses.
The type="hash" credential path in MPP.Methods.Tempo.verify/2 guards against replay with a non-atomic check-then-mark sequence: check_hash_unused/2 reads the dedup store, an eth_getTransactionReceipt round trip verifies the payment on chain, and only then does mark_hash_used/2 write the mark. Concurrent requests carrying the same settled payment hash all pass the read before any of them writes, so each is issued a receipt. The store's atomic check_and_mark/2 primitive is available and used by the type="transaction" path, but the hash path calls plain get and put even when the configured store implements it. Exploitation requires a dedup store to be configured; the default nil store is stateless and documented as offering no replay protection at all.
This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.6.1. |
| A race condition vulnerability in Arm Ltd Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Valhall GPU Kernel Driver, Arm Ltd Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver allows a local non-privileged user process to perform improper GPU memory processing operations to cause a denial of service or disclose sensitive information.
This issue affects Bifrost GPU Kernel Driver: from r12p0 through r49p5, from r50p0 through r51p0, from r54p1 through r54p2; Valhall GPU Kernel Driver: from r19p0 through r49p5, from r50p0 through r54p3, r55p0; Arm 5th Gen GPU Architecture Kernel Driver: from r41p0 through r49p5, from r50p0 through r54p3, r55p0. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in ramon-victor freegpt-webui up to 098db3dfeb41555c2ca9269df0f13e10ec1c35dc. This issue affects the function getJailbreak of the file server/config.py of the component Jailbreak Mode. The manipulation results in race condition. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The attack requires a high level of complexity. The exploitability is assessed as difficult. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product takes the approach of rolling releases to provide continious delivery. Therefore, version details for affected and updated releases are not available. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) vulnerability in GNU tar's incremental dumpdir 'X' rename handling allows a local attacker with write access to a directory being backed up to influence the restore process if the attacker has access to the system where the restore is being performed. During restoration, files or directories may be created, renamed or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory. This could lead to unauthorized file modification or, in some cases, privilege escalation. Exploitation does not require the attacker to modify or craft the archive, and standard backup and restore workflows—including extracting into a newly created directory without using the -P option do not mitigate the issue. |
| A race condition in the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect™ client on macOS enables a locally authenticated low-privileged attacker to escalate their privileges to root.
The GlobalProtect app on Linux, Windows, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS is not affected. |
| Race condition in Browser in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| GeoVision GV-LPC2211 V1.13 fails to restrict the filename supplied to BKDownloadLink.cgi, allowing a remote user with valid web credentials to read arbitrary files accessible to the root-run web service. |
