| CVE-2026-31729 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: validate connector number in ucsi_notify_common() The connector number extracted from CCI via UCSI_CCI_CONNECTOR() is a 7-bit field (0-127) that is used to index into the connector array in ucsi_connector_change(). However, the array is only allocated for the number of connectors reported by the device (typically 2-4 entries). A malicious or malfunctioning device could report an out-of-range connector number in the CCI, causing an out-of-bounds array access in ucsi_connector_change(). Add a bounds check in ucsi_notify_common(), the central point where CCI is parsed after arriving from hardware, so that bogus connector numbers are rejected before they propagate further. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31696 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Fix missing validation of ticket length in non-XDR key preparsing In rxrpc_preparse(), there are two paths for parsing key payloads: the XDR path (for large payloads) and the non-XDR path (for payloads <= 28 bytes). While the XDR path (rxrpc_preparse_xdr_rxkad()) correctly validates the ticket length against AFSTOKEN_RK_TIX_MAX, the non-XDR path fails to do so. This allows an unprivileged user to provide a very large ticket length. When this key is later read via rxrpc_read(), the total token size (toksize) calculation results in a value that exceeds AFSTOKEN_LENGTH_MAX, triggering a WARN_ON(). [ 2001.302904] WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 2108 at net/rxrpc/key.c:778 rxrpc_read+0x109/0x5c0 [rxrpc] Fix this by adding a check in the non-XDR parsing path of rxrpc_preparse() to ensure the ticket length does not exceed AFSTOKEN_RK_TIX_MAX, bringing it into parity with the XDR parsing logic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31686 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/kasan: fix double free for kasan pXds kasan_free_pxd() assumes the page table is always struct page aligned. But that's not always the case for all architectures. E.g. In case of powerpc with 64K pagesize, PUD table (of size 4096) comes from slab cache named pgtable-2^9. Hence instead of page_to_virt(pxd_page()) let's just directly pass the start of the pxd table which is passed as the 1st argument. This fixes the below double free kasan issue seen with PMEM: radix-mmu: Mapped 0x0000047d10000000-0x0000047f90000000 with 2.00 MiB pages ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: double-free in kasan_remove_zero_shadow+0x9c4/0xa20 Free of addr c0000003c38e0000 by task ndctl/2164 CPU: 34 UID: 0 PID: 2164 Comm: ndctl Not tainted 6.19.0-rc1-00048-gea1013c15392 #157 VOLUNTARY Hardware name: IBM,9080-HEX POWER10 (architected) 0x800200 0xf000006 of:IBM,FW1060.00 (NH1060_012) hv:phyp pSeries Call Trace: dump_stack_lvl+0x88/0xc4 (unreliable) print_report+0x214/0x63c kasan_report_invalid_free+0xe4/0x110 check_slab_allocation+0x100/0x150 kmem_cache_free+0x128/0x6e0 kasan_remove_zero_shadow+0x9c4/0xa20 memunmap_pages+0x2b8/0x5c0 devm_action_release+0x54/0x70 release_nodes+0xc8/0x1a0 devres_release_all+0xe0/0x140 device_unbind_cleanup+0x30/0x120 device_release_driver_internal+0x3e4/0x450 unbind_store+0xfc/0x110 drv_attr_store+0x78/0xb0 sysfs_kf_write+0x114/0x140 kernfs_fop_write_iter+0x264/0x3f0 vfs_write+0x3bc/0x7d0 ksys_write+0xa4/0x190 system_call_exception+0x190/0x480 system_call_vectored_common+0x15c/0x2ec ---- interrupt: 3000 at 0x7fff93b3d3f4 NIP: 00007fff93b3d3f4 LR: 00007fff93b3d3f4 CTR: 0000000000000000 REGS: c0000003f1b07e80 TRAP: 3000 Not tainted (6.19.0-rc1-00048-gea1013c15392) MSR: 800000000280f033 <SF,VEC,VSX,EE,PR,FP,ME,IR,DR,RI,LE> CR: 48888208 XER: 00000000 <...> NIP [00007fff93b3d3f4] 0x7fff93b3d3f4 LR [00007fff93b3d3f4] 0x7fff93b3d3f4 ---- interrupt: 3000 The buggy address belongs to the object at c0000003c38e0000 which belongs to the cache pgtable-2^9 of size 4096 The buggy address is located 0 bytes inside of 4096-byte region [c0000003c38e0000, c0000003c38e1000) The buggy address belongs to the physical page: page: refcount:0 mapcount:0 mapping:0000000000000000 index:0x0 pfn:0x3c38c head: order:2 mapcount:0 entire_mapcount:0 nr_pages_mapped:0 pincount:0 memcg:c0000003bfd63e01 flags: 0x63ffff800000040(head|node=6|zone=0|lastcpupid=0x7ffff) page_type: f5(slab) raw: 063ffff800000040 c000000140058980 5deadbeef0000122 0000000000000000 raw: 0000000000000000 0000000080200020 00000000f5000000 c0000003bfd63e01 head: 063ffff800000040 c000000140058980 5deadbeef0000122 0000000000000000 head: 0000000000000000 0000000080200020 00000000f5000000 c0000003bfd63e01 head: 063ffff800000002 c00c000000f0e301 00000000ffffffff 00000000ffffffff head: ffffffffffffffff 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff 0000000000000004 page dumped because: kasan: bad access detected [ 138.953636] [ T2164] Memory state around the buggy address: [ 138.953643] [ T2164] c0000003c38dff00: fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc [ 138.953652] [ T2164] c0000003c38dff80: fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc [ 138.953661] [ T2164] >c0000003c38e0000: fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc [ 138.953669] [ T2164] ^ [ 138.953675] [ T2164] c0000003c38e0080: fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc [ 138.953684] [ T2164] c0000003c38e0100: fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc fc [ 138.953692] [ T2164] ================================================================== [ 138.953701] [ T2164] Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint | ||||
| CVE-2026-31614 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-06 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix off-by-8 bounds check in check_wsl_eas() The bounds check uses (u8 *)ea + nlen + 1 + vlen as the end of the EA name and value, but ea_data sits at offset sizeof(struct smb2_file_full_ea_info) = 8 from ea, not at offset 0. The strncmp() later reads ea->ea_data[0..nlen-1] and the value bytes follow at ea_data[nlen+1..nlen+vlen], so the actual end is ea->ea_data + nlen + 1 + vlen. Isn't pointer math fun? The earlier check (u8 *)ea > end - sizeof(*ea) only guarantees the 8-byte header is in bounds, but since the last EA is placed within 8 bytes of the end of the response, the name and value bytes are read past the end of iov. Fix this mess all up by using ea->ea_data as the base for the bounds check. An "untrusted" server can use this to leak up to 8 bytes of kernel heap into the EA name comparison and influence which WSL xattr the data is interpreted as. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31583 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: em28xx: fix use-after-free in em28xx_v4l2_open() em28xx_v4l2_open() reads dev->v4l2 without holding dev->lock, creating a race with em28xx_v4l2_init()'s error path and em28xx_v4l2_fini(), both of which free the em28xx_v4l2 struct and set dev->v4l2 to NULL under dev->lock. This race leads to two issues: - use-after-free in v4l2_fh_init() when accessing vdev->ctrl_handler, since the video_device is embedded in the freed em28xx_v4l2 struct. - NULL pointer dereference in em28xx_resolution_set() when accessing v4l2->norm, since dev->v4l2 has been set to NULL. Fix this by moving the mutex_lock() before the dev->v4l2 read and adding a NULL check for dev->v4l2 under the lock. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16760 | 1 Trailofbits | 1 Fickling | 2026-11-06 | 8.8 High |
| In Trail of Bits fickling through 0.1.12, the _process_import() method in fickle.py adds an imported name to the likely_safe_imports set whenever the source module is present in sys.stdlib_module_names and the name is absent from the UNSAFE_IMPORTS denylist, without inspecting what the name resolves to or how it behaves. The OvertlyBadEvals analysis pass in analysis.py then unconditionally skips any call whose function name appears in likely_safe_imports, including calls that would otherwise be flagged as overtly dangerous. As a result, any callable reachable through a non-blocked standard library module inherits module-level trust regardless of its own behavior, and check_safety() returns LIKELY_SAFE with zero findings for pickle payloads that reach code execution or file write through such callables. Demonstrated primitives: dataclasses._create_fn, which passes an attacker-controlled function body to exec() and yields arbitrary code execution on Python 3.7 through 3.12 (the internal _create_fn function was removed in Python 3.13); mailcap.findmatch, which internally calls os.system() on a test command taken from an attacker-controlled caps dictionary, yielding arbitrary code execution on Python versions through 3.12 (the mailcap module was removed in Python 3.13); and readline.add_history() followed by readline.write_history_file(), which writes attacker-controlled content to an arbitrary filesystem path (POSIX platforms, where the readline module is available). fickling.load() chains check_safety() into pickle.loads() as an explicit security gate, so a LIKELY_SAFE verdict causes the payload to be deserialized and executed with the privileges of the victim process. The root cause is the inference of callable safety from module origin; it is independent of, and separately fixable from, the dotted __qualname__ resolution weakness tracked as CVE-2026-118938, which this advisory does not address. As of 2026-10-30 the three demonstrated modules were added to UNSAFE_IMPORTS on the vendor master branch (commit d011709) pending release; released versions through 0.1.12 remain affected, and the module-origin trust root cause persists, as demonstrated by the related CVE-2026-118938 remaining exploitable on that same build. | ||||

| CVE-2026-118938 | 1 Trailofbits | 1 Fickling | 2026-11-06 | 8.8 High |
| In Trail of Bits fickling through 0.1.12, a pickle STACK_GLOBAL operand carrying a dotted __qualname__ (for example "Values.read_file") is resolved by pickle's find_class through _getattribute to an arbitrary attribute path rather than to a module-level function. Fickling records only the leading component of the name in its import tracking and renders the operation as a plain import (for instance, 'python -m fickling' displays it as 'from optparse import Values.read_file'), so the trailing attribute reference is never analyzed as a call. The OvertlyBadEvals analysis pass does not flag it, and check_safety() returns LIKELY_SAFE with zero findings. This allows an attacker to reach a class method that performs code execution: optparse.Values.read_file executes exec(open(filename).read(), vars), achieving arbitrary code execution when the crafted pickle is loaded through fickling.load(), which chains check_safety() into pickle.loads() as an explicit security gate. optparse is present in all current CPython 3.x releases (deprecated as of Python 3.13, not removed). This weakness is in the resolution and analysis of dotted attribute-path names, and is distinct from and independently fixable from the module-origin trust weakness tracked as CVE-2026-16760: resolving or flagging dotted attribute-path imports closes this vector while leaving the module-level trust behavior unchanged. This bypass was verified to remain present on the vendor master branch at commit d011709 as of 2026-10-30, after the vendor's October blocklist additions and a new heuristic that flags private stdlib attributes; because the public class method Values.read_file is neither blocklisted nor flagged as a private attribute, it is not addressed by those remediations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-117666 | 1 Deadtrickster | 1 Ssl Verify Fun | 2026-11-06 | 7.4 High |
| Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch vulnerability in deadtrickster ssl_verify_fun allows an adversary in the middle to impersonate a TLS peer via a certificate that carries a partial-label wildcard. try_match_wildcard/4 in src/ssl_verify_hostname.erl anchors only the text before and after the * of an identifier such as f*.example.net, so the wildcard also consumes dots and the certificate is accepted for f.evil.example.net. RFC 6125 confines a wildcard to the left-most label. The same matcher lets *.168.1.1 match the IP literal 192.168.1.1. Whole-label wildcards are matched correctly. Erlang/OTP 20.0 and later check the hostname in ssl before a user verify_fun sees valid_peer, so a client that keeps server_name_indication set rejects the mismatch regardless. Exposed are clients that disable SNI, servers that verify client certificate hostnames with this library, and direct callers of verify_cert_hostname/2. This issue affects ssl_verify_fun: from 1.0.1 before 1.1.8. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116624 | 2026-11-06 | 8.8 High | ||
| The Advanced Members for ACF plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.0 via the `acf[_amem_local_user_password]` parameter of the `[advanced-members-account-password]` shortcode form submission. This is due to a PHP operator-precedence bug in the `pre_update_value` function of `acf/fields/class-user-password.php` that assigns boolean `true` instead of the resolved user ID to `$user_id`, causing the `_can_edit()` authorization check to pass for any logged-in user via PHP loose equality, and causing `wp_update_user()` to cast `'ID' => true` to integer `1` — unconditionally targeting the primary administrator account. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the password of user ID 1 (the site's primary administrator) with an attacker-chosen value, granting full administrative access to the site. The intended exclusion guard in `Account::process` that strips the password field before saving is defeated because `amem_save_all_fields()` re-reads the full field list from `amem()->submission` and silently overwrites the caller-supplied excluded fields array with an empty array, ensuring the password field is always processed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116239 | 1 Pgadmin | 1 Pgadmin 4 | 2026-11-06 | 8.5 High |
| In server mode pgAdmin 4 keeps an account per authentication source, so the same username can exist as, for example, an internal account and an LDAP account. After LDAP or Kerberos authenticated a user, pgAdmin chose the account to log in by username alone, or took the account Flask-Security's login form had looked up, without checking that it came from the source that authenticated the user. The session therefore belonged to another account, with its role, its servers and its saved database passwords: - An LDAP or Kerberos user whose username matched an internal account was logged in as that internal account, including the administrator account created when pgAdmin is first set up. - With internal authentication listed before LDAP or Kerberos in AUTHENTICATION_SOURCES, the login form's internal validation looks up the account whose email was typed and keeps it even though its password does not match. A Kerberos user could type another Kerberos user's principal and be logged in as that user, and an LDAP user could do the same with an LDAP account whose email is their username. Exploitation requires valid credentials for an LDAP directory or Kerberos realm that pgAdmin is configured to use. The fix looks the account up by the authenticated username and the source that authenticated it, and no longer uses the account the login form found for any source but internal authentication. Internal authentication logs in that account only if it is an internal account. Desktop mode is not affected. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116238 | 1 Pgadmin | 1 Pgadmin 4 | 2026-11-06 | 8.1 High |
| In server mode pgAdmin 4 locks an internal account after MAX_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS failed logins (3 by default). The limit could be bypassed, giving an unauthenticated attacker an unlimited number of password guesses against any internal account, including the administrator's, in the default configuration: - Flask-Security registers its own views next to pgAdmin's. A login submitted to its /login view was checked and logged in without pgAdmin's failed login count or lock. Its /verify view checked a signed-in user's password without limit, its /change view changed a password without pgAdmin's change password permission or re-encrypting the user's saved server passwords, and its /reset views sent and applied password resets for accounts that are not internal or are locked. - The internal account was looked up by its exact username, while the login form matches the email ignoring case, so a login with the username typed in another case was neither counted nor checked for the lock. - With LDAP or webserver authentication also configured, a wrong internal password was never counted, and with Kerberos or webserver authentication configured a guess could be answered without being counted. In addition, where accounts from different authentication sources share an email address, a password reset could be sent for, or applied to, an account from another source, and the About box showed the server configuration to a user whose email was that of an administrator's account. The fix refuses submissions to Flask-Security's own views, counts every failed internal login however the username is typed and whatever other sources are configured, no longer lets a login that posts a password fall back to an authentication source that does not check it, and locks only internal authentication. Password resets and the About box act only on the user's own internal account. Desktop mode is not affected. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116128 | 1 Kazuho | 1 Starlet | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High |
| Starlet versions from 0.20 before 0.33 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via unbounded buffering when decoding chunked request bodies. The decoder adds each read to one buffer of unconsumed input. Nothing limits the length of a chunk-size line, so a line without a CRLF grows the buffer for as long as the client keeps sending, and the read timeout restarts after every read. The data of a large chunk is also held in the buffer until the whole chunk has arrived. A remote attacker can exhaust a worker's memory with a single request. | ||||

| CVE-2026-104010 | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High | ||
| The WPSyncSheets For Contact Form 7 – CF7 Google Sheets Connector & Save to Database plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.0 via the 'any non-system CF7 field (e.g., your-message)' parameter parameter. This is due to insufficient sanitization of CF7 submission field values before database storage and the absence of an allowed_classes restriction on maybe_unserialize() during admin retrieval. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Successful exploitation of the remote code execution gadget chain requires that a Google Sheets access token be configured in the plugin (its primary advertised feature), as this triggers autoloading of the bundled Monolog 2.10.0 library whose classes form the exploitable gadget chain; however, the underlying PHP Object Injection occurs regardless. | ||||
