CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86: Unconditionally recompute CR8 intercept on PPR update
The TPR_THRESHOLD field in the VMCS is used by VMX to induce VM exits
when the guest's virtual TPR falls under the specified threshold,
allowing KVM to inject previously masked interrupts.
KVM handles these VM exits in handle_tpr_below_threshold().
Commit eb90f3417a0c ("KVM: vmx: speed up TPR below threshold vmexits")
optimized this function by calling apic_update_ppr() instead of raising
KVM_REQ_EVENT. apic_update_ppr() then raises KVM_REQ_EVENT if there is
a pending, deliverable interrupt.
However, if there are no new interrupts pending, apic_update_ppr() does
not issue the request. Thus, kvm_lapic_update_cr8_intercept() and
vmx_update_cr8_intercept() are not called before VM entry, which results
in a high, stale TPR_THRESHOLD. This is problematic due to the following
sentence in 28.2.1.1 "VM-Execution Control Fields" in the SDM:
The following check is performed if the “use TPR shadow” VM-execution
control is 1 and the “virtualize APIC accesses” and “virtual-interrupt
delivery” VM-execution controls are both 0: the value of bits 3:0 of
the TPR threshold VM-execution control field should not be greater
than the value of bits 7:4 of VTPR.
This error condition is typically not observed when KVM runs on a bare
metal system because modern processors support APICv, which enables
virtual-interrupt delivery, and which KVM uses when possible. This
causes the processor to no longer generate TPR-below-threshold exits
and to no longer check TPR_THRESHOLD on entry. However, when running
on older platforms, or under nested virtualization on a hypervisor that
does not support virtual-interrupt delivery and enforces this check
(like Hyper-V) this can cause a VM entry failure with hardware error
0x7, as seen in [1].
Call kvm_lapic_update_cr8_intercept() if apic_update_ppr() does not
find a deliverable interrupt (and thus does not raise KVM_REQ_EVENT).
Remove calls to kvm_lapic_update_cr8_intercept() on paths that end up in
apic_update_ppr(), as they now become redundant. This ensures that any
path that updates the guest's PPR also figures out if KVM needs to wait
for a TPR change (using TPR_THRESHOLD on VMX or CR8 intercepts on SVM). |
| Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Dawn in Google Chrome on Android prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Hono before 4.11.10 contains a timing attack vulnerability in the basicAuth and bearerAuth middlewares due to non-constant-time string comparison in the timingSafeEqual function. Attackers can exploit early termination of string equality checks to infer valid credentials through precise timing measurements. |
| Exposure of sensitive information to an unauthorized actor in Microsoft Graph allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Vulnerability in the MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: X Plugin). Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 8.4.0-8.4.10, 9.7.0-9.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0-8.0.47, 8.4.0-8.4.10 and 9.7.0-9.7.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster and unauthorized read access to a subset of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.2 (Confidentiality and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:H). |
| Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache NimBLE in Mesh Proxy SAR reassembly could result in passing broken data toward application resulting in memory pressure and unstable parsing behavior.
This issue affects Apache NimBLE: through 1.9.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.10.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Improper input validation in Microsoft Surface allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Observable Timing Discrepancy vulnerability in Erlang/OTP ssh (ssh_auth, ssh_options modules) allows unauthenticated remote username enumeration via timing side-channel in password authentication.
When the SSH daemon is configured with the user_passwords or password option, ssh_auth:check_password/3 performs a PBKDF2-SHA256 computation with 600,000 iterations (~300ms) for valid usernames, but returns immediately (~0ms) for invalid usernames via the ssh_options:get_password_option/2 path. This timing difference is detectable in a single authentication attempt and allows an unauthenticated attacker to distinguish valid from invalid usernames.
The user_passwords and password options are documented as intended for test purposes; the recommended alternative is pwdfun, which is not affected by this vulnerability.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/ssh/src/ssh_auth.erl and lib/ssh/src/ssh_options.erl.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.2, corresponding to ssh from 6.0 before 6.0.1. |
| Observable Response Discrepancy vulnerability in Erlang OTP ssh (ssh_sftpd module) allows an authenticated SFTP user to enumerate the existence of files and directories outside the configured root directory.
The SSH_FXP_REALPATH handler in ssh_sftpd calls relate_file_name/3 with Canonicalize=false, unlike every other SFTP operation handler. This allows .. components in the requested path to bypass the is_within_root/2 check without being resolved. The un-canonicalized path then enters resolve_symlinks/2, which walks up the directory tree above the configured root and issues read_link() syscalls on arbitrary filesystem paths.
An authenticated SFTP client can exploit this by sending a REALPATH request with a crafted traversal path. The server response differs depending on whether the target path exists on the host filesystem (SSH_FXP_NAME when the path resolves successfully, SSH_FX_NO_SUCH_FILE when it does not). This creates a path-existence oracle that an attacker can use to enumerate the filesystem structure outside the configured root, including the existence of sensitive files, directories, and mount points.
The vulnerability leaks only the existence of paths. No file contents, credentials, or write access are obtainable through this issue alone. The information gained may assist further attacks when combined with other vulnerabilities.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/ssh/src/ssh_sftpd.erl and program routine ssh_sftpd:handle_op/4.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 29.0.3, OTP 28.5.0.3 and OTP 27.3.4.14, corresponding to ssh from 3.0.1 before 6.0.2, 5.5.2.2 and 5.2.11.9. |
| Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in Erlang OTP ssh (ssh_sftpd module) allows File Discovery.
The SSH_FXP_READLINK handler in ssh_sftpd sends the raw result of file:read_link/2 to the client without calling chroot_filename/2 to strip the backend root prefix. An authenticated SFTP client can create a symlink inside the chroot pointing to /; ssh_sftpd resolves the target to the absolute backend root and stores it on disk. Reading the symlink back via SSH_FXP_READLINK returns that absolute path, for example /data/sftp, instead of the chrooted value /.
The information disclosed is the absolute filesystem path of the SFTP root directory and of any symlink targets within it. No file contents, credentials, or access to paths outside the root directory are obtainable through this issue alone.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/ssh/src/ssh_sftpd.erl.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 29.0.2, OTP 28.5.0.2 and OTP 27.3.4.13, corresponding to ssh from 3.0.1 before 6.0.1, 5.5.2.1 and 5.2.11.8. |
| Skipper contains an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-50197 in which oversized request bodies bypass Open Policy Agent (OPA) deny-on-presence Rego policies. When a request body exceeds the configured maxBodyBytes limit, Skipper forwards the full payload to the upstream service while OPA evaluates against an empty parsed_body, so policies that deny requests based on body content are not enforced and forbidden actions proceed. No fixed version is available; v0.27.26 adds documentation guidance only. |
| Other issue in the DOM: Copy & Paste and Drag & Drop component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153 and Thunderbird 153. |
| Shopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel. Prior to 2.8.0, three related defects on admin Livewire components allowed data tampering, sensitive data disclosure, and stored XSS. First, several Livewire components in the admin panel exposed Eloquent model identifiers as public properties without the `#[Locked]` attribute. An authenticated user could rewrite the wire payload from the browser to target any record id, bypassing the implicit scoping enforced by the page routing. Second, `Customers/Create::store()` re-passed a `Hidden` `_password` form field straight into the create payload. The plaintext password was rendered into the HTML and transported through the Livewire snapshot in clear text, exposing credentials in the page DOM and in any logging that captures Livewire payloads. Finally, the product barcode field was rendered through `DNS1DFacade::getBarcodeHTML()` with `{!! !!}`. An attacker with `edit_products` permission could persist malicious payload in the barcode field that would execute in the browser of any admin user viewing that product, enabling session theft and privileged-action chaining. Starting in v2.8.0, all vulnerable Livewire model identifiers are now marked `#[Locked]`; `Customers/Create` no longer round-trips the password through a Hidden form field; the plaintext password is hashed at action boundary and never returned to the client; and the product barcode rendering now escapes the value before passing it to the barcode generator and the output is wrapped in an `<svg>` context that does not interpret event handlers. No known workarounds are available. |
| DbGate is cross-platform database manager. In versions 7.1.8 and prior, DbGate's JSON script runner (`POST /runners/start`) allows remote code execution via code injection in the `functionName` parameter of JSON script `assign` commands. The `functionName` value is interpolated directly into dynamically generated JavaScript source code via string concatenation. The generated code is then executed in a forked Node.js child process. Version 7.1.9 contains a patch. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco RoomOS engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20153 are related to improper input validation that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Pillar CWE-20. |
| Pegatron `Tdelo64.sys` exposes a privileged device interface, `\\.\TdeIo`, that fails to properly restrict access to sensitive IOCTL functionality. The driver's IOCTL dispatcher does not validate caller privileges or verify user-supplied kernel memory addresses before performing memory operations. By sending crafted requests to IOCTL, a local attacker can achieve arbitrary kernel memory read and write operations, leading to privilege escalation to `NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM`, security product bypass, credential theft, or complete system compromise. |
| Better Auth is an authentication and authorization library for TypeScript. Prior to 1.6.11, the @better-auth/sso plugin's POST /sso/register and POST /sso/update-provider endpoints accept attacker-controlled oidcConfig.userInfoEndpoint, tokenEndpoint, and jwksEndpoint URLs when skipDiscovery: true is set, store them on the ssoProvider row without origin validation, and fetch them during OIDC callback, allowing non-blind server-side request forgery and possible account linking when trustEmailVerified: true is configured. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.11. |
| Repomix is a tool that packs repositories into AI-friendly files. Prior to 1.14.1, the Repomix MCP server attach_packed_output and read_repomix_output flow can register and read arbitrary local .json, .txt, .md, or .xml files without the file_system_read_file runSecretLint() safety check or Repomix packed-output validation, allowing MCP callers to bypass the local file-read secret-scanning boundary. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.1. |
| An input validation and injection vulnerability exists in Canonical ubuntu-pro-client (formerly ubuntu-advantage-tools). The client constructs APT source files (such as /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-.list or their DEB822 equivalents) using data received directly from the contract server response via the directives.suites[] and directives.aptURL fields. Because the client utilizes Python's str.format() to write these files without performing escaping, validation, or newline character filtering, a malicious or tampered contract response containing embedded newline (\n) characters can successfully inject arbitrary, attacker-controlled deb configuration lines into root-owned APT sources. When combined with the unvalidated additionalPackages[] field—which is passed positionally into a root-executed apt-get install command—an attacker capable of spoofing or manipulating the contract response (e.g., via a compromised internal infrastructure, an intercepted connection utilizing a trusted CA, or local logical bugs) can force the client to fetch and install malicious packages. This ultimately leads to arbitrary code execution with root privileges on the affected system. This component is preinstalled on supported Ubuntu Server releases and auto-attaches by default on cloud provider Ubuntu Pro images. |
| SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. Prior to 0.241.203, the authenticated GET /api/user/info/<user_id> and GET /api/user/profile-image/<user_id> endpoints in application/single_app/route_backend_users.py accepted a caller-supplied user_id and read the matching Cosmos DB user-settings document without object-level authorization, allowing a low-privilege authenticated user to retrieve another user's email address, display name, and profile image. This issue is fixed in version 0.241.203. |
