CVSS v3.1 |
| Data::DisjointSet::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl create a world-readable mmap backing file and open it without O_EXCL or O_NOFOLLOW.
The segment is created in dsu.h with open(path, O_RDWR|O_CREAT, 0666). The mode is 0666, so under the default umask 022 the file is created mode 0644 (world-readable). O_NOFOLLOW is absent, so a symlink planted at the path is followed, and O_EXCL is absent, so the open silently uses a pre-planted file instead of failing.
A "Shared" segment naturally lives in a shared directory such as /tmp or /dev/shm, where any local user can read the IPC payloads stored in the world-readable segment, and a pre-planted file or symlink at the path lets a local attacker win a pre-creation race or redirect the open. |
| The servereye client (also known as sensorhub, technically ClientAgentContainerService) versions 20.15 and earlier are vulnerable to Local Privilege Escalation. The high-privileged service SE3Recovery (EmergencyRecoveryService.exe), running as SYSTEM, periodically monitors the directory %ProgramData%\ServerEye3\update\ for a trigger file named "update_available". Due to insufficient access restrictions on this directory, a local standard user can create the trigger file and provide a path to a directory containing malicious JSON instructions. The service subsequently executes the utility UpdaterAction.exe with SYSTEM privileges, which parses the instructions and performs an unvalidated file copy from a user-controlled source to a protected system destination (e.g., overwriting a service binary). This leads to full system compromise as the service automatically restarts the overwritten binary with SYSTEM privileges. |
| Duplicati v2.3.0.1 backup software gives Authenticated Users MODIFY permissions that propagate to all subdirectories. Installing the software outside of the Program Files directory, or on a custom path, creates a LocalSystem service running from a directory that any standard local user can write to. A standard local user can overwrite any DLL in the service directory. On service restart, the OS loads the attacker's DLL before any managed code runs, executing arbitrary code as SYSTEM. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: Installation Issues). The supported version that is affected is 3.6.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics executes to compromise Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.0 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Succession planning product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Succession plan). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Succession planning. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Succession planning accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Succession planning accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Succession planning. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L). |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Platform Security for Java product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Centralized Thirdparty Jars). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Platform Security for Java. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Platform Security for Java. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| Grav API Plugin (Composer package getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.10 fails to properly validate the slug field in the POST /pages/{route}/move endpoint. PagesController::move() sanitizes the slug only with ltrim($body['slug'], '.'), which strips leading periods but does not neutralize '/' or '..' segments. An authenticated API caller with the api.pages.write permission can supply path traversal sequences (e.g., 01.home/../../../pwned) to move an entire page directory (content and media) to an arbitrary writable location outside user/pages/, including outside the Grav installation. |
| FileGator accepts arbitrary Unix permission values via the '/chmoditems' API endpoint and passes the value directly to PHP's native 'chmod()' function through 'octdec()' conversion, with no validation. This allows an authenticated user with 'chmod' permission to upgrade their privileges to root. |
| JIT miscompilation in the JavaScript: WebAssembly component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13. |
| In Progress ShareFile Storage Zones Controller versions prior to 5.12.5 and 6.0.2, an authenticated administrative user can exploit a path traversal vulnerability to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem, write files to arbitrary directories, or determine whether specific files exist on the server. |
| ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. The ECDSA private key used to sign the on-disk policy database (`/Library/Application Support/clearancekit/store.db`) is stored in the macOS System Keychain. The key was created via the two-step pattern `SecKeyCreateRandomKey` (in-memory) followed by `SecItemAdd(kSecValueRef:, kSecAttrAccess:)` (persist). Prior to version 5.0.10, for `kSecClassKey` items in the legacy System Keychain, `kSecAttrAccess` passed to `SecItemAdd` is silently ignored — the persisted key inherits no ACL restriction. The same access builder applied to `kSecClassGenericPassword` items correctly binds the ACL, making this bug specific to the EC key. The result is that any process running as root can use the key to produce valid signatures over arbitrary policy content. Version 5.0.10 fixes the issue. No known workarounds are available. Disabling the system extension and manually removing the System Keychain item labelled `clearancekit policy signing key` would prevent the forged-signature path but also disables policy enforcement. |
| Path traversal in the sshd-scp component of Apache MINA SSHD. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH.
The implementation of receiving files or directories via SCP did not validate filenames in SCP "C" or "D" commands. A malicious sender could send filenames containing paths, resulting in files to be written in attacker-controlled places.
The issue affects only
* applications that use no longer supported Apache MINA SSHD versions < 2.0.0 and use the SCP functions to receive files,
* or applications using sshd-scp in Apache MINA SSHD >= 2.0.0 to receive files.
Applications using Apache MINA SSHD >= 2.0.0 not using sshd-scp are not affected.
The issue is fixed in Apache MINA 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M5. Affected applications are advised to upgrade to these versions. |
| The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.30.20 does not have proper authorisation checks on one of its AJAX actions, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to modify a Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.30.20 setting and bypass the manual approval of new bookings. |
| Network-AI is a TypeScript/Node.js multi-agent orchestrator. Prior to version 5.12.2, `EnvironmentManager.listBackups()` reads each backup's `_manifest.json` and trusts the manifest's `path` field. `EnvironmentManager.pruneBackups()` later passes that trusted `entry.path` directly to `rmSync(entry.path, { recursive: true, force: true })`. An attacker who can place or modify a manifest inside `data/<env>/.backups/<name>/_manifest.json` can cause `network-ai env backup prune --env <env> --keep <n>` or any code path invoking `pruneBackups()` to recursively delete an arbitrary path accessible to the Network-AI process user. This is fixed in v5.12.2. `pruneBackups()` no longer passes `entry.path` from the on-disk manifest to `rmSync`. The deletion path is recomputed from a format-validated `entry.backupId`, and a `dirname` containment check confines deletion to exactly one level under the backups directory. A poisoned manifest (e.g. `"path": "/"`) is now inert. |
| CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based content management system skeleton. Prior to version 0.31.9.0, the Fileeditor module enforces an extension allowlist (`['css','js','html','txt','json','sql','md']`) on content-write operations (`saveFile`, `createFile`), but two destructive endpoints — `deleteFileOrFolder` and `renameFile` — never validate the extension of the *source* path. A backend user with file-editor permissions can therefore unlink or rename any file inside the project root that is not explicitly listed in the small `$hiddenItems` blocklist. Critical framework files such as `app/Config/Routes.php`, `app/Config/App.php`, `app/Config/Database.php`, `app/Config/Filters.php`, `public/index.php`, and `public/.htaccess` all live outside that blocklist and can be destroyed, producing a persistent denial of service that requires filesystem-level redeployment to recover. Version 0.31.9.0 patches the issue. |
| oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.1, resolveWritePath() in content/file/file.go uses a lexical filepath.Rel check for workingDir and does not account for symlink traversal, so when AllowPathTraversalOnWrite=false an attacker-controlled blob title through ocispec.AnnotationTitle such as out/pwn.txt can follow a workingDir symlink out -> /some/outside/dir and cause pushFile() to create /some/outside/dir/pwn.txt outside workingDir. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1. |
| Metabase is an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. From 1.54.0 until 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4, a Metabase user with permission to add or edit a database connection can achieve remote code execution on the Metabase server by configuring a Snowflake connection to an attacker-controlled server, because a flaw in the Snowflake JDBC driver can write arbitrary files anywhere on the Metabase host, including replacing one of Metabase's own database driver files that later executes inside the Metabase process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4. |
| Manyfold is an open source, self-hosted web application for managing a collection of 3d models, particularly focused on 3d printing. From 0.96.0 until 0.140.0, authenticated users can rename uploaded files with path traversal sequences because app/models/model_file.rb uses the user-controlled filename in File.join(model.path, filename) without sufficient sanitization, allowing files to be moved or written outside the configured library directory. This issue is fixed in version 0.140.0. |
| Docling Core defines core data types and transformations for the document processing application Docling. In versions 2.5.0 and above, prior to 2.74.1, docling-core could allow local file:// image references and accepted inline data: content without a decoded-size limit. In applications that accept untrusted image references, this may allow access to local files readable by the process or excessive memory use from large inline payloads. This issue has been fixed in version 2.74.1. |
| A flaw was found in the OpenShift Pipelines operator. The tekton-scheduler-rolebinding ClusterRoleBinding grants the system:authenticated group write access to Kueue and cert-manager custom resources via the tekton-scheduler-role ClusterRole. When Kueue or cert-manager CRDs are present on the cluster, any authenticated user can disrupt workload scheduling, tamper with scheduling priorities, delete other tenants' Workload objects, or induce cert-manager to overwrite TLS Secrets including the default ingress controller certificate. |
