| EIPStackGroup OpENer 2.3.0 (commit 76b95cf) suffers from an Incorrect Access Control vulnerability in its handling of encapsulation sessions. When the server processes critical encapsulation commands, it verifies whether the provided session_handle exists in the global session list, but it fails to verify whether that handle belongs to the specific TCP connection issuing the request. Because there is no strong binding between a session handle and its originating socket, any attacker on the network can use a valid session handle created by another legitimate client to bypass access controls. |

| Heap-based out-of-bounds write in j2k_precinct_subband::parse_packet_header() in OpenHTJ2K versions 0.18.3 and earlier (fixed in v0.18.4) caused by missing bounds validation before coding-pass lengths are written to j2k_codeblock::pass_length[128]. A crafted JPEG 2000 codestream containing malformed PPM packet headers can trigger a heap-based out-of-bounds write in j2k_precinct_subband::parse_packet_header() in source/core/coding/coding_units.cpp due to missing bounds validation for the j2k_codeblock::pass_length[128] array which can lead to heap corruption and process termination. |
| A reachable assertion vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) 1.3 thru 1.4, specifically within the Level Control cluster's server tick logic (`emberAfLevelControlClusterServerTickCallback`). When a MoveToLevel command is executed and followed by a conflicting write to the OperationMode attribute (in the Pump Configuration and Control cluster), an invariant check (`minLevel < currentLevel`) fails and causes the device to abort. This leads to a denial of service condition. The issue is confirmed in SDK versions 1.3 and 1.4 (commit ab3d5ae), and is triggered remotely without authentication. |

| In Eclipse Jetty, an HTTP URI of this form:
/public;/../admin/secret.txt
results in an unresolved path of:
/public/../admin/secret.txt
instead of the expected:
/admin/secret.txt
Jetty itself is not affected, as it will not serve the secret.txt file because it will not pass the alias checker (only resolved resources are served).
However, web applications that rely on resolved paths being provided by Jetty may be confused when receiving an unresolved path. |
| For requests that have a body, but reading the body may end up in reading 0 bytes, there is a buffer leak.
This is particularly the case for 100-Continue, but any request where the network is slow can leak. |

| A flaw was found in GStreamer's WavPack audio decoder in gst-plugins-good. When processing a specially crafted WavPack file, an integer overflow in the buffer size calculation (4 * block_samples * channels) in gst_wavpack_dec_handle_frame() causes a very small heap allocation. The WavPack library then writes decoded audio samples far beyond the allocated buffer, resulting in heap memory corruption. This affects both 32-bit and 64-bit systems since the arithmetic is performed in 32-bit integers before promotion to the allocation size type. A remote attacker could use this flaw to crash an application or potentially execute arbitrary code by convincing a user to open a malicious WavPack audio file. |

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses_post filter applied at post save does not neutralize this payload because only the inert shortcode text is stored in post_content; the dangerous HTML is synthesized at render time by the shortcode handler, entirely bypassing save-time sanitization. |
