| CVE-2026-96900 | 2026-10-15 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| The Cart Abandonment Recovery for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 2.1.4 does not verify ownership of the email address used to select an abandoned-cart record before deleting or overwriting it, allowing unauthenticated attackers who know a customer's email to destroy or tamper with that customer's stored abandoned-cart data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86476 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-15 | 8.4 High |
| A flaw was found in gst-plugins-base. A heap buffer overflow can be triggered when processing video buffers whose attached GstVideoMeta metadata declares plane strides and offsets that exceed the actual backing memory allocation. The metadata is not range-checked during deserialization, and the video frame mapping code does not verify that the declared plane geometry fits within the buffer before allowing consumers to read or write video data. A local attacker who controls the sending side of a GStreamer inter-process IPC pipeline can deliver a crafted buffer carrying fabricated strides, causing the receiving process to read or write beyond heap boundaries. Successful exploitation can cause a denial of service or potentially allow code execution within the affected process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101301 | 2026-10-15 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| The WPCode WordPress plugin before 2.4.0 does not correctly verify that a request is genuinely for the login screen before entering its snippet safe mode, allowing unauthenticated visitors to disable all of the site's automatically inserted snippets for their own requests. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103308 | 2026-10-15 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| The Visma Pay for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 1.2.2 does not verify the authenticity of payment gateway return requests, relying on a merchant secret that is empty on a store which has not entered its credentials, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark arbitrary orders as paid and to disclose the name, email address and postal address of any order's customer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103907 | 2026-10-15 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| The JNews - Jeg Elementor Kit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on both the 'jkit_post_block' and 'jeg_find_author' AJAX actions in versions up to, and including, 3.2.19. The 'wp_ajax_jkit_post_block' handler (registered generically for every element via wp_ajax_{$element_id} in Elements_Option_Abstract::setup_hook) returns the element's full option schema — including a freshly minted wp_create_nonce('jeg_find_author') — to any authenticated caller, and the 'wp_ajax_jeg_find_author' handler then runs a WP_User_Query with the attacker-supplied 'query' wrapped in '*…*' against search_columns that include user_email, echoing the ID and display_name of every matching user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enumerate every registered user of the site and to reconstruct arbitrary users' email addresses one character at a time by using the substring search as an oracle. | ||||
| CVE-2026-11861 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 6 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 9.6 Critical |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. When a trust relationship is configured between FreeIPA and Active Directory, Active Directory users can bypass authentication for FreeIPA services, including the portal, SMB server, and LDAP directory. This is possible by impersonating a client name in the Ticket Granting Service (TGS) due to FreeIPA services not verifying Privilege Attribute Certificate (PAC) certificates. This vulnerability could allow an authenticated Active Directory user to escalate their privileges within the FreeIPA domain. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109969 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-15 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-pkcs11-afunix-socket-unlock daemon creates AF_UNIX sockets without explicit permission restrictions or peer credential verification. Under a permissive process umask, any local user can connect to the control socket and inject arbitrary device/key pairs, or connect to the data socket to receive LUKS passphrases. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109970 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-15 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-luks-pkcs11-askpin script writes the PKCS#11 token PIN in plaintext to a file without setting restrictive permissions. Under the default process umask, the file is world-readable. Additionally, the PIN file is not reliably cleaned up if the decryption script exits early, leaving the PIN accessible indefinitely. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109971 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-15 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-decrypt-pkcs11 script passes the PKCS#11 token PIN as a command-line argument to pkcs11-tool, making it visible to any local user through process listing or the /proc filesystem. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82844 | 2026-10-15 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| The WPForms Lite WordPress plugin before 2.0.2.2 does not verify server-side that a payment was completed before accepting a submission on forms using its PayPal Commerce gateway, allowing unauthenticated visitors to submit paid forms without paying. The form's confirmation is delivered and its notification emails are sent even though no order exists at the payment provider and no payment is recorded. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88998 | 2026-10-15 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| The Tickera WordPress plugin before 3.6.0.4 does not correctly verify the integrity of incoming payment notifications, and the validated signature does not cover the order or the amount, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a payment confirmation and mark arbitrary orders as paid without paying. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98386 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Use memset_io() to clear QLAFX00 request ring slot For QLAFX00 the request ring is ioremapped device I/O memory (ha->iobase + req_que_off), not DMA-coherent RAM, which is why the rest of the FX00 path accesses it through memcpy_toio() and the wrt_reg_* helpers. __qla2x00_alloc_iocbs() however zeroed the producer slot with a plain memset(). On architectures such as ARM64 a regular memset() may emit unaligned or block-zeroing instructions (e.g. DC ZVA) that are invalid on Device memory, leading to a synchronous external abort. Use memset_io() to clear the slot for QLAFX00, matching the I/O accessors used elsewhere on this ring. Other adapters keep the plain memset() on their DMA-coherent rings. The zero-fill is retained for FX00 because its IOCB builders (e.g. qlafx00_fxdisc_iocb()) copy only part of the entry and rely on the unused tail being pre-zeroed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79678 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Freeipa and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA's idp-add command, where insufficiently validated --organization/--base-url input reaches a constrained eval() call before the corresponding LDAP access control check is enforced. This allows any authenticated IPA principal, regardless of privilege level, to enumerate and read the environment variables of the affected server process and to cause denial of service via memory exhaustion. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76578 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Freeipa and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The self-managed OTP token ACI does not require authentication and does not restrict which attributes may be added alongside the token entry. An unauthenticated LDAP client can exploit this, combined with a related flaw in the underlying directory server's ACI evaluation (tracked separately), to create an arbitrary attacker-controlled Kerberos principal and have it added to the administrators group. This allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to obtain genuine FreeIPA administrator-group membership and perform administrative operations against the directory and, on SID-enabled deployments, other IdM services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73198 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 6 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in the `/ipa/i18n_messages` endpoint by sending an arbitrarily large request body. This can cause the service to consume excessive memory, leading to memory exhaustion, degraded responsiveness, and a denial of service (DoS) condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73197 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 6 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending oversized form POST requests to the `/ipa/migration/migration.py` endpoint. This can force the migration handler to read attacker-controlled request bodies fully into memory, leading to increased memory usage, slower request handling, and potential service disruption or denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19550 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 6 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The trust-fetch-domains command is gated by a read-only permission on the trust object rather than a trust-administration permission, allowing an authenticated, non-privileged IPA user to trigger a privileged Active Directory trust refresh using an attacker-supplied server and credentials, resulting in unauthorized, attacker-controlled modification of trusted-domain and ID-range identity data in the IPA LDAP directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18147 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Freeipa and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit a DOM Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the FreeIPA/IdM Web UI password reset page. By enticing a victim to click a specially crafted link and complete a password reset, the attacker could inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This allows the attacker to perform actions within the victim's authenticated session, potentially leading to full administrative control if an IdM administrator is targeted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13097 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 6 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.7 High |
| A privilege escalation flaw was found in FreeIPA. The uniqueness constraint enforced on Kerberos principal name attributes in the 389-ds directory server does not properly account for equivalent representations of the same principal name, allowing a user with sufficient LDAP write privileges to create a service principal that impersonates an existing privileged one. This can lead to unauthorized acquisition of Kerberos service tickets for sensitive services, potentially resulting in full domain compromise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104795 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2026-10-15 | 8.8 High |
| The insights-runtime-extractor runs as a privileged DaemonSet (`hostPID: true`) that scans container processes for runtime fingerprinting. When scanning a container, the coordinator: 1. **fork()s** a child process 2. **setns()** into the target container's PID and mount namespaces 3. **fchdir()** back to an orphaned FD pointing at the extractor's own root filesystem (where `/crio.sock` is hostPath-mounted) 4. Calls **only `seteuid(target_uid)`** — changing the effective UID but leaving the **real UID and saved-set-UID at 0** and **retaining the permitted capability set** 5. The `check_no_privileged_perms()` guard inspects only the Effective capability set (so it passes), and is **skipped entirely when the target runs as uid 0** 6. The `VersionExecutable` fingerprint invokes `fpr_kind_executable` with `process.command_line[0]` — the target's argv[0], read from `/proc/<pid>/cmdline` and **fully controlled by the workload** 7. `fpr_kind_executable` calls `exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output()` — executing the **workload's own binary** inside the workload's mount namespace while **ruid=0 in the host user namespace** The executed process can call `setuid(0)` to restore full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN`, and inherits the orphaned cwd which resolves into the extractor container's filesystem containing the host CRI-O socket. ## Affected Code ### 1. Insufficient privilege drop (Rust — extractor coordinator) **File:** `extractor/src/insights_runtime_extractor.rs` ```rust // Lines 139-146 — seteuid-only drop, guard skipped for root containers join_process_namespaces(process.pid)?; change_dir(current_dir); switch_user(*process.uid)?; if *process.uid != 0 { perms::check_no_privileged_perms() .expect("Must not have privileged permissions to run fingerprints"); } fingerprint::run_fingerprints(&config, out_dir, &process); ``` ```rust // Lines 182-185 — only effective UID changed; ruid/suid stay 0 fn switch_user(uid: u32) -> Result<(), ScannerError> { debug!("... Becoming user: {uid}"); seteuid(uid.into()).map_err(|e| ScannerError::Errno(e)) } ``` ### 2. Execution of untrusted binary (Go — fingerprint) **File:** `fingerprints/pkg/utils/file.go` ```go // Lines 75-80 — executes a path taken verbatim from workload's argv[0] func GetExecutableVersionOutput(executable string) (string, error) { out, err := exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output() if err != nil { return "", err } return string(out), nil } ``` ### 3. Workload-controlled path forwarded (Rust — version_executable) **File:** `version_executable.rs` ```rust // Lines 29-34 — workload-controlled command_line[0] forwarded to fingerprint return Some(vec![ fpr_kind_executable, out_dir.to_string(), String::from(&process.command_line[0]), String::from(&version_executable.runtime_kind_name), ]); ``` ## Attack Pattern **Attacker:** Any tenant able to schedule a pod (unprivileged, any namespace) **Victim:** The node running the insights-runtime-extractor DaemonSet **Trigger:** Automatic — the DaemonSet scans all container processes on the node **Attack sequence:** 1. Attacker creates a pod whose process name matches a configured versioned-executable pattern (`node`, `python`, `python3`, `MainThread`, or contains `java`) 2. The pod's main binary (at the path matching argv[0]) is a malicious executable that calls `setuid(0)` to restore root 3. When the insights operator triggers a scan, the DaemonSet forks, enters the attacker's mount namespace, and executes the attacker's binary with ruid=0 4. The attacker's code regains full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN` in the host user namespace 5. The inherited cwd contains the host CRI-O socket → full node compromise | ||||
