CVSS v3.1 |
| Memory leak in the http_request_parse function in request.c in lighttpd before 1.4.20 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a large number of requests with duplicate request headers. |
| Multiple memory leaks in freshclam/manager.c in ClamAV before 0.94 might allow attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via unspecified vectors related to "error handling logic". |
| src/racoon/handler.c in racoon in ipsec-tools does not remove an "orphaned ph1" (phase 1) handle when it has been initiated remotely, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption). |
| Memory leak in racoon/proposal.c in the racoon daemon in ipsec-tools before 0.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via invalid proposals. |
| Memory leak in the dequote_bytea function in quote.c in the DBD::Pg (aka DBD-Pg or libdbd-pg-perl) module before 2.0.0 for Perl allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by fetching data with BYTEA columns. |
| Memory leak in the zlib_stateful_init function in crypto/comp/c_zlib.c in libssl in OpenSSL 0.9.8f through 0.9.8h allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via multiple calls, as demonstrated by initial SSL client handshakes to the Apache HTTP Server mod_ssl that specify a compression algorithm. |
| Memory leak in the zlib_stateful_finish function in crypto/comp/c_zlib.c in OpenSSL 0.9.8l and earlier and 1.0.0 Beta through Beta 4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via vectors that trigger incorrect calls to the CRYPTO_cleanup_all_ex_data function, as demonstrated by use of SSLv3 and PHP with the Apache HTTP Server, a related issue to CVE-2008-1678. |
| Mozilla Firefox before 2.0.0.15 and SeaMonkey before 1.1.10 do not properly handle an invalid .properties file for an add-on, which allows remote attackers to read uninitialized memory, as demonstrated by use of ISO 8859 encoding instead of UTF-8 encoding in a French .properties file. |
| Multiple memory leaks in Ipsec-tools before 0.7.2 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via vectors involving (1) signature verification during user authentication with X.509 certificates, related to the eay_check_x509sign function in src/racoon/crypto_openssl.c; and (2) the NAT-Traversal (aka NAT-T) keepalive implementation, related to src/racoon/nattraversal.c. |
| Multiple memory leaks in Red Hat Directory Server 7.1 before SP7, Red Hat Directory Server 8, and Fedora Directory Server 1.1.1 and earlier allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via vectors involving (1) the authentication / bind phase and (2) anonymous LDAP search requests. |
| Memory leak in CUPS before 1.1.22, and possibly other versions, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption and daemon crash) via a large number of requests to add and remove shared printers. |
| The BitTorrent implementation in Opera 9.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption and application crash) via a malformed torrent file. NOTE: the original disclosure refers to this as a memory leak, but it is not certain. |
| Memory leak in the ipip6_rcv function in net/ipv6/sit.c in the Linux kernel 2.4 before 2.4.36.5 and 2.6 before 2.6.25.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via network traffic to a Simple Internet Transition (SIT) tunnel interface, related to the pskb_may_pull and kfree_skb functions, and management of an skb reference count. |
| Memory leak in a certain Red Hat patch, applied to vsftpd 2.0.5 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 and Fedora 6 through 8, and on Foresight Linux and rPath appliances, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a large number of CWD commands, as demonstrated by an attack on a daemon with the deny_file configuration option. |
| A flaw was identified in the interactive shell of the xmllint utility, part of the libxml2 project, where memory allocated for user input is not properly released under certain conditions. When a user submits input consisting only of whitespace, the program skips command execution but fails to free the allocated buffer. Repeating this action causes memory to continuously accumulate. Over time, this can exhaust system memory and terminate the xmllint process, creating a denial-of-service condition on the local system. |
| libgphoto2 is a camera access and control library. Versions up to and including 2.5.33 have a memory leak in `ptp_unpack_Sony_DPD()` in `camlibs/ptp2/ptp-pack.c` (lines 884–885). When processing a secondary enumeration list (introduced in 2024+ Sony cameras), the function overwrites dpd->FORM.Enum.SupportedValue with a new calloc() without freeing the previous allocation from line 857. The original array and any string values it contains are leaked on every property descriptor parse. Commit 404ff02c75f3cb280196fc260a63c4d26cf1a8f6 fixes the issue. |
| When segmenting specially crafted text, segmentation would corrupt memory leading to a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 134, Firefox ESR 128.6, Thunderbird 134, and Thunderbird 128.6. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
block: fix resource leak in blk_register_queue() error path
When registering a queue fails after blk_mq_sysfs_register() is
successful but the function later encounters an error, we need
to clean up the blk_mq_sysfs resources.
Add the missing blk_mq_sysfs_unregister() call in the error path
to properly clean up these resources and prevent a memory leak. |
| iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools for working with ICC color management profiles. Versions 2.3.1 and below contain a memory leak vulnerability in its XML MPE Parsing Path (iccFromXml). This issue is fixed in version 2.3.1.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/x86/amd: Fix memory leak in wbrf_record()
The tmp buffer is allocated using kcalloc() but is not freed if
acpi_evaluate_dsm() fails. This causes a memory leak in the error path.
Fix this by explicitly freeing the tmp buffer in the error handling
path of acpi_evaluate_dsm(). |
