CVSS v3.1 |
| A NULL
pointer dereference vulnerability exists in TL-WR841N v14 in the UPnP service when processing SOAP action requests. A specially crafted SOAP action request containing unexpected XML content may cause the UPnP daemon to terminate unexpectedly.
Successful exploitation may result in a denial-of-service condition affecting UPnP functionality until the service is restarted or the device is rebooted. |
| A NULL
pointer dereference vulnerability exists in TL-WR841N v14 in the UPnP service when processing
SOAP state variable query requests. A specially crafted SOAP query may trigger
unexpected termination or instability of the process hosting the UPnP service.
Successful
exploitation may result in a denial-of-service condition affecting UPnP
discovery, state query, or related management functionality until the affected
process is restarted or the device is rebooted. |
| A buffer
overflow vulnerability exists in the embedded HTTP service in TL-WR841N v14 when processing
multipart/form-data requests. Insufficient validation of an attacker-controlled
boundary parameter may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to submit a
crafted request that corrupts memory by overwriting data beyond the bounds of
an internal buffer.
Successful
exploitation may result in modification or corruption of process memory,
potentially leading to undefined application behavior. Arbitrary code
execution, information disclosure, and denial-of-service conditions have not
been demonstrated. |
| The WP Ultimate CSV Importer WordPress plugin before 9.0 does not properly sanitise and escape imported field values before using them in a SQL statement, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform SQL injection attacks. |
| The Frontend Admin by DynamiApps WordPress plugin before 3.29.11 does not perform a capability check on one of its AJAX actions, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to delete arbitrary membership plans. |
| The SOGO Add Script to Individual Pages Header Footer WordPress plugin through 3.9 does not sanitise or escape the custom header/footer script values saved from its post metabox, and does not restrict them to users with the unfiltered_html capability, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to store JavaScript that executes in the browser of any administrator who reviews the post and of any visitor once the post is published. |
| The geotargetingwp WordPress plugin before 3.5.6.2 does not sanitise or escape several parameters before reflecting them back in AJAX responses that are served with an HTML content type, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a victim is tricked into submitting a crafted request. |
| A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the HP ImageDiags for versions prior to 5.0.0.36. The vulnerability could potentially allow a local attacker to escalate privileges due to insufficient access controls. |
| The native inference process that Elasticsearch uses to evaluate uploaded machine learning models accepts a model operation that computes a memory address from an offset supplied inside the model, without validating that the offset stays within the bounds of the underlying storage. A user with the privileges required to upload and deploy a trained model can craft a model that reads and writes memory outside the intended allocation. The result is heap corruption that crashes the inference process, and, with sufficient control over the heap layout, could allow arbitrary code execution in the context of that process. |
| A flaw was found in GNU tar. When extracting an archive with the --one-top-level option, hardlink targets are not confined to the designated top-level directory and may resolve relative to the extraction working directory. A crafted archive can create hardlinks that escape the intended boundary and, when combined with a preexisting symbolic link under the working directory, may allow writing outside that boundary during a single extraction. |
| A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) vulnerability in GNU tar's incremental dumpdir 'X' rename handling allows a local attacker with write access to a directory being backed up to influence the restore process if the attacker has access to the system where the restore is being performed. During restoration, files or directories may be created, renamed or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory. This could lead to unauthorized file modification or, in some cases, privilege escalation. Exploitation does not require the attacker to modify or craft the archive, and standard backup and restore workflows—including extracting into a newly created directory without using the -P option do not mitigate the issue. |
| A flaw was found in tar. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious archive, leading to hidden file injection with fully attacker-controlled content. This bypasses pre-extraction inspection mechanisms, potentially allowing an attacker to introduce malicious files onto a system without detection. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability was found in yast2-users. When displaying the "Password Settings" tab of a user, get_password_term() in src/include/users/dialogs.rb read the shadowLastChange and shadowExpire fields with GetString(), which performs no numeric validation, and passed the resulting string to format_days_after_epoch(). That helper interpolated the value into a shell command executed via Ruby backticks without quoting or escaping.
Impact: an administrator who manages users against an external/federated LDAP directory via `yast2 users` triggers root command execution the moment they view or edit that particular user's "Password Settings" tab. No "join domain" or trust setup is required, just browsing/editing one user entry.
This issue affects yast2-users through 5.0.8. |
| A OS command injection vulnerability in yast2-auth-client allows an attacker who controls Active Directory configuration values to execute arbitrary commands as root on the configured host.
Auth::AuthConf in src/lib/auth/authconf.rb assembles the Samba net ads join, net ads lookup -S and net ads testjoin invocations by interpolating configuration values into a single command string and passing that string to Open3.popen2 / Open3.capture2, which causes Ruby to run it through /bin/sh. The Organizational Unit (ou), dnshostname, AD user name and AD domain name values are neither validated nor shell-quoted. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command in yast2-samba-client allows an attacker who controls the content of an Active Directory directory tree - a rogue domain controller, or a directory user delegated the right to create objects - to execute arbitrary commands as root on a machine being joined to that domain.
This issue affects yast2-samba-client through 5.0.4. |
| NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in Samsung Open Source mTower allows Pointer Manipulation.
This issue affects mTower: before afef59aa6f55c5d5ebf9b14bc020bf1c2c37489a. |
| A flaw was found in the file-pix (ESM) plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted PIX image file, the plugin allocates a Variable-Length Array (VLA) on the stack without proper bounds checking, causing an unbounded stack allocation followed by a 21-byte stack over-read. This can result in a denial of service due to stack exhaustion and a limited information disclosure of stack memory contents into an intermediate file. |
| Elasticsearch does not enforce an upper bound on a user-supplied count accepted by a search highlighting option, and the allocation derived from that count is not accounted against any circuit breaker. An authenticated user holding only read privileges on a single searchable index can submit one small search request that causes the node to reserve an excessively large internal data structure. The allocation occurs before the existing highlighting safety limits are evaluated, so memory exhaustion raises a fatal error that terminates the Elasticsearch node process. This results in a denial of service for the affected node and degrades cluster routing and health. The defect is not volumetric and does not depend on the size of the indexed data, so a single request is sufficient. |
| SiYuan before v3.8.1 fails to properly escape block name, alias, and memo fields in hint, backlink, and breadcrumb rendering functions. Attackers can set a block's name to contain HTML/script tags that execute when another user views documents referencing or displaying that block. |
| SiYuan Windows installer before version 3.8.1 (affected versions >= 2.0.14) contains an uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in its NSIS installer, which invokes system executables such as TASKKILL by name rather than by absolute path. Because NSIS nsExec::Exec resolves these calls using a search path that includes the installer's own launch directory ahead of System32, an attacker who plants a malicious executable (e.g., a renamed TASKKILL.exe) in that directory can have it executed when the installer runs. These calls occur in electron-builder's preInit hook before the license page is displayed, and with an all-users (elevated) install the planted binary executes with an elevated token, resulting in local privilege escalation. |
