CVSS v3.1 |
Actual Analyzer through 2014-08-29 allows code execution via shell metacharacters because untrusted input is used for part of the input data passed to an eval operation.
An unauthenticated remote attacker can cause a DoS in the controller due to uncontrolled resource consumption.
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in the backup name field may allow OS command injection. This issue affects Pandora ITSM 5.0.105.
EnerSys AMPA versions 24.04 through 24.16, inclusive, are vulnerable to command injection leading to privileged remote shell access.
An issue in Oncord+ Android Infotainment Systems OS Android 12, Model Hardware TS17,Hardware part Number F57L_V3.2_20220301, and Build Number PlatformVER:K24-2023/05/09-v0.01 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the ADB port component.
(conda) Constructor is a tool which allows constructing an installer for a collection of conda packages. Prior to version 3.11.3, shell installer scripts process the installation prefix (user_prefix) using an eval statement, which executes unsanitized user input as shell code. Although the script runs with user privileges (not root), an attacker could exploit this by injecting arbitrary commands through a malicious path during installation. Exploitation requires explicit user action. This issue has been patched in version 3.11.3.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in SageMath, Inc CoCalc before commit 0d2ff58 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted SVG file.
The TLS4B ATG system's SOAP-based interface is vulnerable due to its accessibility through the web services handler. This vulnerability enables remote attackers with valid credentials to execute system-level commands on the underlying Linux system. This could allow the attacker to achieve remote command execution, full shell access, and potential lateral movement within the network.
The npm package `interactive-git-checkout` is an interactive command-line tool that allows users to checkout a git branch while it prompts for the branch name on the command-line. It is available as an npm package and can be installed via `npm install -g interactive-git-checkout`. Versions up to and including 1.1.4 of the `interactive-git-checkout` tool are vulnerable to a command injection vulnerability because the software passes the branch name to the `git checkout` command using the Node.js child process module's `exec()` function without proper input validation or sanitization. Commit 8dd832dd302af287a61611f4f85e157cd1c6bb41 fixes the issue.
uploadsm in ChargePoint Home Flex 5.5.4.13 does not validate a user-controlled string for bz2 decompression, which allows command execution as the nobody user.
Bypass incomplete fix of CVE-2024-27980, that arises from improper handling of batch files with all possible extensions on Windows via child_process.spawn / child_process.spawnSync. A malicious command line argument can inject arbitrary commands and achieve code execution even if the shell option is not enabled.
Netwrix CoSoSys Endpoint Protector through 5.9.3 and CoSoSys Unify through 7.0.6 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the shadowing component of the Endpoint Protector and Unify agent which allows an attacker with administrative access to the Endpoint Protector or Unify server to overwrite sensitive configuration and subsequently execute system commands with SYSTEM/root privileges on a chosen client endpoint.
Starlette is a lightweight ASGI (Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface) framework/toolkit, designed for building async web services in Python. In versions 0.47.1 and below, when parsing a multi-part form with large files (greater than the default max spool size) starlette will block the main thread to roll the file over to disk. This blocks the event thread which means the application can't accept new connections. The UploadFile code has a minor bug where instead of just checking for self._in_memory, the logic should also check if the additional bytes will cause a rollover. The vulnerability is fixed in version 0.47.2.
Netwrix CoSoSys Endpoint Protector through 5.9.3 and CoSoSys Unify through 7.0.6 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the logging component of the Endpoint Protector and Unify server application which allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to send a malicious request, resulting in the ability to execute system commands with root privileges.
A vulnerability has been found in TRENDnet TEW-831DR 1.0 (601.130.1.1410). Impacted is an unknown function of the file /boafrm/formSysCmd. The manipulation of the argument sysHost leads to command injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
An authenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the Content Explorer feature of LogicData eCommerce Framework v5.0.9.7000 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted file.
Expr is an expression language and expression evaluation for Go. Prior to version 1.17.0, if the Expr expression parser is given an unbounded input string, it will attempt to compile the entire string and generate an Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) node for each part of the expression. In scenarios where input size isn’t limited, a malicious or inadvertent extremely large expression can consume excessive memory as the parser builds a huge AST. This can ultimately lead to*excessive memory usage and an Out-Of-Memory (OOM) crash of the process. This issue is relatively uncommon and will only manifest when there are no restrictions on the input size, i.e. the expression length is allowed to grow arbitrarily large. In typical use cases where inputs are bounded or validated, this problem would not occur. The problem has been patched in the latest versions of the Expr library. The fix introduces compile-time limits on the number of AST nodes and memory usage during parsing, preventing any single expression from exhausting resources. Users should upgrade to Expr version 1.17.0 or later, as this release includes the new node budget and memory limit safeguards. Upgrading to v1.17.0 ensures that extremely deep or large expressions are detected and safely aborted during compilation, avoiding the OOM condition. For users who cannot immediately upgrade, the recommended workaround is to impose an input size restriction before parsing. In practice, this means validating or limiting the length of expression strings that your application will accept. For example, set a maximum allowable number of characters (or nodes) for any expression and reject or truncate inputs that exceed this limit. By ensuring no unbounded-length expression is ever fed into the parser, one can prevent the parser from constructing a pathologically large AST and avoid potential memory exhaustion. In short, pre-validate and cap input size as a safeguard in the absence of the patch.
A critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the web-based management interface of GatesAir Maxiva UAXT, VAXT transmitters when debugging mode is enabled. An attacker with a valid session ID (sess_id) can send specially crafted POST requests to the /json endpoint, enabling arbitrary command execution on the underlying system. This vulnerability can lead to full system compromise, including unauthorized access, privilege escalation, and potentially full device takeover.
ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. In versions below 2.1.11 and 3.0.0 through 3.1.10, a specially crafted GIF file containing a malformed comment extension block (with a missing block terminator) can cause the ImageSharp GIF decoder to enter an infinite loop while attempting to skip the block. This leads to a denial of service. Applications processing untrusted GIF input should upgrade to a patched version. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.11 and 3.1.11.
Improper verification of a user input in Open Source MANO v7-v12 allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code within the LCM module container via a Virtual Network Function (VNF) descriptor. An attacker may be able execute code to change the normal execution of the OSM components, retrieve confidential information, or gain access other parts of a Telco Operator infrastructure other than OSM itself.
