| During bosh create-env and bosh delete-env, the CLI uploads compiled CPI packages and rendered job templates to the new VM's DAV blobstore over HTTPS without verifying the server certificate, even though a CA certificate for that endpoint is available in the installation manifest. A network attacker can terminate the TLS connection, harvest the Basic-auth credentials, and read the rendered-templates archive containing every bootstrap secret for the new BOSH Director, then replay the credentials against the real VM's agent for root code execution.

staging: rtl8723bs: os_dep: avoid NULL pointer dereference in rtw_cbuf_alloc
The return value of kzalloc_flex() is used without
ensuring that the allocation succeeded, and the
pointer is dereferenced unconditionally.
Guard the access to the allocated structure to
avoid a potential NULL pointer dereference if the
allocation fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: nSVM: Avoid clearing VMCB_LBR in vmcb12
svm_copy_lbrs() always marks VMCB_LBR dirty in the destination VMCB.
However, nested_svm_vmexit() uses it to copy LBRs to vmcb12, and
clearing clean bits in vmcb12 is not architecturally defined.
Move vmcb_mark_dirty() to callers and drop it for vmcb12.
This also facilitates incoming refactoring that does not pass the entire
VMCB to svm_copy_lbrs(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
md/md-llbitmap: raise barrier before state machine transition
Move the barrier raise operation before calling llbitmap_state_machine()
in both llbitmap_start_write() and llbitmap_start_discard(). This
ensures the barrier is in place before any state transitions occur,
preventing potential race conditions where the state machine could
complete before the barrier is properly raised. |
| A flaw was found in Open Cluster Management (OCM), the technology underlying Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM). Improper validation of Kubernetes client certificate renewal allows a managed cluster administrator to forge a client certificate that can be approved by the OCM controller. This enables cross-cluster privilege escalation and may allow an attacker to gain control over other managed clusters, including the hub cluster. |

bpf: Fix tcx/netkit detach permissions when prog fd isn't given
This commit fixes a security issue where BPF_PROG_DETACH on tcx or
netkit devices could be executed by any user when no program fd was
provided, bypassing permission checks. The fix adds a capability
check for CAP_NET_ADMIN or CAP_SYS_ADMIN in this case. |
