CVSS v3.1 |
Incorrect default permissions vulnerability in Evoko Home, affecting version 2.4.2 to 2.7.4. A non-admin user could exploit weak file and folder permissions to escalate privileges, execute arbitrary code and maintain persistence on the compromised machine. It has been identified that full control permissions exist on the ‘Everyone’ group (i.e. any user who has local access to the operating system regardless of their privileges).
Incorrect access permission of a specific folder issue exists in RemoteView Agent (for Windows) versions prior to v8.1.5.2. If this vulnerability is exploited, a non-administrative user on the remote PC may execute an arbitrary OS command with LocalSystem privilege.
An issue was discovered in LemonLDAP::NG before 2.20.1. An Improper Check during session refresh allows an authenticated user to raise their authentication level if the admin configured an "Adaptative authentication rule" with an increment instead of an absolute value.
Incorrect default permissions in the AMD Integrated Management Technology (AIM-T) Manageability Service installation directory could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Gaudi(R) software installers before version 1.18 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
An issue in Secnet Security Network Intelligent AC Management System v.1.02.040 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the password component.
Dumb Drop is a file upload application. Users with permission to upload to the service are able to exploit a path traversal vulnerability to overwrite arbitrary system files. As the container runs as root by default, there is no limit to what can be overwritten. With this, it's possible to inject malicious payloads into files ran on schedule or upon certain service actions. As the service is not required to run with authentication enabled, this may permit wholly unprivileged users root access. Otherwise, anybody with a PIN.
An Insecure Permission vulnerability in pgcodekeeper 10.12.0 allows a local attacker to obtain sensitive information via the plaintext storage of passwords and usernames.
An issue was discovered in MSA FieldServer Gateway 5.0.0 through 6.5.2 (Fixed in 7.0.0). The FieldServer Gateway has an internally used shared administrative user account on all devices. The authentication for this user is implemented through an unsafe shared secret that is static in all affected firmware versions.
Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 37758.
| The configuration of Cursor on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Cursor TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.
Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Cursor, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue was detected in 15.4.1 version of Cursor. Project maintainers decided not to fix this issue, because a scenario including a local attacker falls outside their defined threat model. |
A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain CodeReady Workspaces images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container.
A security issue was discovered in Kubernetes clusters with Windows nodes where BUILTIN\Users may be able to read container logs and NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users may be able to modify container logs.
| The Toshiba printers provide several ways to upload files using the web interface without authentication. An attacker can overwrite any insecure files. And the Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. The programs can be replaced by malicious programs by any local or remote attacker. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | melange allows users to build apk packages using declarative pipelines. Starting in version 0.23.0 and prior to version 0.29.5, SBOM files generated by melange in apks had file system permissions mode 666. This potentially allows an unprivileged user to tamper with apk SBOMs on a running image, potentially confusing security scanners. An attacker could also perform a DoS under special circumstances. Version 0.29.5 fixes the issue. |
The Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL.
Buildroot before 0b2967e lacks the sticky bit for the /dev/shm directory. A fix was released in 2024.02.2.
Delinea Privilege Manager before 12.0.2 mishandles the security of the Windows agent.
grub2 allowed attackers with access to the grub shell to access files on the encrypted disks.
In RSA NetWitness (NW) Platform before 12.5.1, even when an administrator revokes the access of a specific user with an active session, an internal threat actor could impersonate the revoked user and gain unauthorized access to sensitive data.
