CVSS v3.1 |
| The MDJM Event Management plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.8.4. This is due to missing capability checks and nonce verification in the `MDJM_Permissions::set_permissions()` and `MDJM_Employee_Manager::init()` functions, combined with the absence of server-side allow-list validation on the `employee_roles[]` and `new_role` POST parameters before they are passed to `mdjm_set_employee_role()` and `WP_User::set_role()`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to grant arbitrary MDJM capabilities — including `mdjm_employee` and `mdjm_employee_edit` — to any registered WordPress role, and subsequently leverage a subscriber-level account to escalate privileges to Administrator. `MDJM_Permissions::init()` is registered on the public WordPress `init` hook without any authentication gate, meaning the role-manipulation endpoint is reachable without any prior login. |
| A vulnerability in Check Point Gaia Portal allows an authenticated attacker with read-only Gaia Portal privileges to execute commands with root privileges. |
| An issue in D-Link DIR-1253 v.1.0.1.250923.142435 allows an attacker to escalate privileges via the etc/shadow component file |
| VMware Avi Load Balancer contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability. A malicious user with local access may be able to escalate their privileges to run code as root.
Affected versions:
32.1.1 (fixed in 32.1.2)
31.1.1 through 31.2.2 (fixed in 31.2.2-2p3)
30.1.1 through 30.2.6 (fixed in 30.2.7)
22.1.1 through 22.1.7 (fixed in 30.2.7) |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Communications Converged Application Server product of Oracle Communications (component: Core). Supported versions that are affected are 8.2 and 8.3. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via TCP/IP to compromise Oracle Communications Converged Application Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Communications Converged Application Server. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| A vulnerability in Fujitsu Software Linux openFT and Fujitsu Software Oracle Solaris openFT before version 12.1D00 allows for local privilege escalation to root of an already authenticated user on GNU/Linux or Oracle Solaris. The Fsas Technologies PSIRT obtained that intelligence internally and covers the CVE beyond its CNA scope under existing agreement with Fujitsu Germany. |
| The Grav Login plugin (grav-plugin-login) versions <= 3.8.11 contain a privilege escalation flaw in the authenticated profile self-update handler (processUserProfile(), the update_user task). Unlike the registration handler, this handler does not strip privilege fields ('groups','access') from user-submitted form data before persisting them. When an administrator has added 'groups' and/or 'access' to plugins.login.user_registration.fields and the default 'regular'/DataUser account backend is in use, a low-privilege authenticated user can POST crafted profile form data (e.g. access[admin][super]=true) to escalate to super-admin, enabling admin panel access, scheduler abuse (RCE), and Twig evaluation. Fixed in 3.8.12. |
| The Easy Form Builder by WhiteStudio plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Privilege Escalation to Administrator in versions up to, and including, 4.0.11 This is due to the password recovery flow using the publicly-visible session identifier ('sid') as the password reset token stored in wp_emsfb_temp_links, combined with a publicly-accessible nonce refresh endpoint (Emsfb/v1/nonce/refresh) that issues valid WordPress REST nonces to unauthenticated visitors. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset the password of any WordPress user — including administrators — by scraping the public sid from a published login form page, submitting a recovery request for any known user email via Emsfb/v1/forms/message/add, and then calling Emsfb/v1/forms/recovery/efb_set_password with the known sid to set an arbitrary new password and gain full administrator access. |
| FluxInk (formerly Sunia SPB Peripheral) Color Management Driver (TcnPeripheral64.sys) 1.0.7.2 allows local privilege escalation for a standard user account via arbitrary physical memory mapping at \Device\PhysicalMemory. Fixed in version 1.0.7.6. The fixed driver is currently available in the Windows 11 25H2 HLK (Hardware Lab Kit). The fixed driver may be available through Windows Update or from Lenovo directly. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
When:
* the all-Java user workflow adapter is configured, or
* the Flowable user workflow adapter is configured, bearing a BPMN definition not requiring admin approval for user self registration of self update requests
the following scenario could happen.
A REST API call can allow the user to grant themselves one or more of defined Roles, thus gaining their Entitlements and becoming in fact an administrator; the actual Entitlements gained depend on the Roles that are effectively defined on the specific Syncope deployment.
This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.0-M0 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 Through 4.0.6, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.1.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.7 / 4.1.2, which fix this issue. |
| RT is an open source, enterprise-grade issue and ticket tracking system. Versions prior to 5.0.10, 6.0.0 and above, prior to 6.0.3 contain an information disclosure and privilege escalation vulnerability in the REST 2.0 API. A privileged (non-administrative) user can obtain authentication credentials belonging to other users — including users with administrative privileges — and use those credentials to read data as those users via RT's feed endpoints. The same request that exposes the credentials also rotates them, invalidating previously-distributed feed URLs across the instance. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.10 and 6.0.3. |
| The Bricksforge plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.8.6. This is due to improper validation of the fieldIds parameter in the Pro Forms registration action, which allows attacker-supplied field IDs to be added to the trusted form-field whitelist. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new administrator account by submitting a crafted request to a publicly accessible Bricksforge Pro Forms registration form. Successful exploitation requires that the site has a public Bricksforge Pro Forms element configured with the User Registration action. |
| Shopware is an open commerce platform. Prior to 6.6.10.18 and 6.7.10.1, UserController::upsertUser() in src/Core/Framework/Api/Controller/UserController.php writes raw user data in SYSTEM_SCOPE without filtering the admin field, so a non-admin API user with user:create or user:update ACL permission can set admin: true on new or existing users; IntegrationController::upsertIntegration() contains an isAdmin() check for the same field, but UserController was missing this check. This issue is fixed in versions 6.6.10.18 and 6.7.10.1. |
| The User Registration & Membership WordPress plugin before 5.2.3 does not validate that the membership tier submitted during public registration is one of the tiers allowed by the registration form before assigning that tier's associated user role, allowing unauthenticated users to register into an arbitrary published membership tier and obtain its role — up to administrator when such a tier exists. |
| The AI Copilot WordPress plugin before 1.5.4 does not bind OAuth access tokens to a WordPress user, and accepts any valid token as an administrator session, allowing unauthenticated attackers who complete the public OAuth flow to execute privileged MCP tools as an administrator, including arbitrary user creation and role escalation. |
| Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.32, Wekan OIDC-related Meteor methods in packages/wekan-oidc/oidc_server.js, server/models/org.js, and server/models/team.js are globally callable without the admin authorization checks used by their non-OIDC counterparts. Authenticated users can call setCreateOrgFromOidc, setOrgAllFieldsFromOidc, setCreateTeamFromOidc, setTeamAllFieldsFromOidc, boardRoutineOnLogin, or groupRoutineOnLogin to create or modify organizations and teams, and groupRoutineOnLogin can grant global admin privileges when PROPAGATE_OIDC_DATA is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 9.32. |
| wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. In versions prior to 2.6, a gym trainer can escalate their session to any higher-privileged account (gym manager, general manager) by chaining two calls to the trainer-login endpoint. Once a trainer performs a legitimate switch into a low-privileged user, the session flag trainer.identity is set and this flag alone bypasses the permission check on all subsequent trainer-login calls. This grants full gym administration capabilities including viewing all member data, modifying contracts, managing gym configuration, and accessing other trainers' and managers' personal information. This issue has been fixed in version 2.6. |
| The Aimogen Pro - All-in-One AI Content Writer, Editor, ChatBot & Automation Toolkit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.4. This is due to due to a missing capability check on the 'aiomatic_call_google_ai_function' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to leverage the 'aimogen_wp_god_mode' tool to clear function blacklists and execute arbitrary PHP functions, such as creating administrator accounts. |
| The Redux Framework WordPress plugin before 4.5.13 does not restrict which user meta keys can be written when saving custom profile fields, allowing users with at least the Subscriber role to escalate their privileges to Administrator by submitting a crafted value while updating their own profile, on sites where the Redux Framework WordPress plugin before 4.5.13's user-profile (Users extension) feature is enabled. |
| phpMyFAQ before 4.1.5 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the user/add API endpoint that allows non-SuperAdmin administrators to create SuperAdmin accounts. A delegated administrator with USER_ADD/EDIT/DELETE permissions can call POST /admin/api/user/add with isSuperAdmin: true and attacker-chosen credentials to create a SuperAdmin account, then authenticate as that account to achieve full instance takeover. |
