OpenEMR through 8.2.0 contains an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the backup configuration import feature that allows administrators with admin or super ACL privileges to execute arbitrary DDL and DML statements against the application database by uploading a crafted SQL file at the form_step=202 parameter in backup.php. Attackers can exploit the unfiltered shell_exec invocation of the mysql command-line client to extract credential hashes, modify access control tables, inject backdoor accounts, create persistent triggers or stored procedures, and write arbitrary files to the filesystem where MySQL FILE privileges and permissive secure_file_priv settings are configured.

OpenEMR through 8.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the document category tree component (library/classes/Tree.class.php) that allows authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary operating system commands by injecting PHP payloads into the categories database table. Attackers can chain arbitrary SQL execution to alter the id column type to VARCHAR and insert a malicious PHP payload, which is then executed via an unsanitized eval() call whenever any page instantiates CategoryTree, including unauthenticated and low-privilege pages, resulting in command execution as the web server user.

OpenEMR through 8.2.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows attackers with valid credentials to circumvent multi-factor authentication by exploiting the exposed OAuth2 password grant flow through an unauthenticated client registration endpoint. Attackers can register an OAuth2 client via the unauthenticated registration endpoint and use the password grant to exchange credentials for an API access token, bypassing the normal web interface authentication and any enforced multi-factor authentication controls.

OpenEMR through 8.2.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the patient portal template system that allows authenticated administrators to inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript by storing malicious payloads through the template save mode, which only filters literal PHP open tags. Attackers can exploit the lack of output encoding at the template retrieval endpoint combined with missing HttpOnly cookie attributes to exfiltrate session tokens via document.cookie access, enabling full session hijacking of any admin, clinician, or portal patient who views a poisoned template.

Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, a server using --mobility authenticates a resumed REFRESH request with the resuming user's credentials but does not verify that identity against the original allocation owner, allowing an authenticated attacker who obtains a victim MOBILITY-TICKET to receive and inject relayed traffic and consume the victim's quota. In the handle_turn_refresh resume branch, the victim allocation (orig_ss) is located solely by the attacker-controlled mobile id, and credentials are only adopted (via copy_auth_parameters) when the resuming session is unauthenticated. Because the attacker's session already has hmackey_set set to 1 from its own prior authentication (which is never reset for long-term-credential sessions), the credential copy is skipped and check_stun_auth validates the REFRESH against the attacker's own identity rather than the allocation owner's. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.

Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with a built-in file browser & image editor. Prior to 4.12.31, Jodit's sanitizeHTMLElement method fails to use isDangerousUrl to normalize javascript: href values before checking the scheme, allowing case variants, control-byte prefixes, and embedded tabs or newlines to bypass filtering and execute attacker-controlled script when a victim clicks a stored link rendered by an application. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.31.

Contao is an Open Source CMS. From 5.3.35 through 5.3.47 and from 5.7.0-RC1 through 5.7.8, the Feed Reader front-end module passes configured RSS feed URLs from FeedReaderController::getResponse() to feedIo->read() without scheme or private-address validation, allowing a backend user with module-edit permissions to make the server request internal network services, loopback addresses, or cloud metadata endpoints. In core-bundle/src/Controller/FrontendModule/FeedReaderController.php, the getResponse() function iterates over the configured feed URLs and passes each one directly to the HTTP client (via $this->feedIo->read($url, new Feed())) with no validation, while the DCA field definition for rss_feed in tl_module.php carries no URL scheme or host validation and the HTTP client is wired as @psr18.http_client (Symfony HttpClient) with no SSRF protection configured, since NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient is not used. This issue is fixed in versions 5.3.48.

Prior to 7.8.0, Thumbor's filters:proportion(<value>) filter does not enforce an upper bound on <value> and runs in the post-transform phase. An attacker can trigger extremely large resizes (CPU/memory exhaustion) and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in 7.8.0.

Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. From 0.31.1 before 0.31.5 and in 0.32.0.rc1 before 0.32.0.rc2, a participant can directly load /admin/demographics/questions/edit_questions and reach the demographics questionnaire editor without the required administrator authorization. The demographics questionnaire editor should require admin access, but the route under /admin/demographics/questions renders the editor interface without checking whether the caller is an admin. A normal participant can load the page and see the live update form action, which proves the protected interface is reachable. This issue is fixed in versions 0.31.5 and 0.32.0.rc2.

This vulnerability allows an adjacent, authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the device by importing a specially crafted VPN client configuration file. The issue arises from improper filtering of special characters.  Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable an attacker to gain full control of the affected device, potentially compromising configuration integrity, network security, and service availability.
