| In Flatpak before 1.18.1, a malicious sandboxed app can obtain arbitrary read and write access to files on the host, which can be escalated to arbitrary code execution on the host, a different vulnerability than CVE-2026-76925. Flatpak creates a few app data directories (e.g., /var/cache, /var/data, /var/config, and /var/tmp) in every sandbox on every app launch where, in some cases, components of the path are attacker-controlled. Missing symlink protection can redirect the directories. Some of these directories are bind-mounted by Flatpak by passing the path (e.g., /home/user/.var/app/APP_ID/cache/tmp), which contains attacker-controlled directories (tmp) to bwrap --bind SRC DST. bwrap passes the path on to the kernel, which then follows symlinks. A malicious symlink can point to arbitrary locations on the host and it will become mounted inside the sandbox. |

KVM: arm64: GICv2: Don't WARN on out-of-range GICV_DIR INTID
vgic_v2_deactivate() passes the INTID a guest wrote to GICV_DIR straight
to vgic_get_vcpu_irq(), and treats a failed lookup as a "can't happen"
condition with WARN_ON_ONCE().
The guest can make it happen at will, though: for any INTID outside of
the implemented SGI, PPI and SPI ranges the lookup returns NULL, since
GICv2 has no LPIs. A guest running with EOImode==1 writing such an INTID
to GICV_DIR triggers the WARN, and panics hosts running with
panic_on_warn.
Drop the WARN and ignore failed lookups. |
| MoguBlog through 6.2 contains an XML external entity injection vulnerability in the WeChat callback handler at POST /wechat/wechatCheck. The WechatRestApi.index() method passes the raw request body to SignUtil.xmlToMap(), which uses an unhardened dom4j SAXReader without DTD or external-entity restrictions. Unauthenticated remote attackers can submit DOCTYPE declarations with external parameter entities to read arbitrary local files or trigger outbound HTTP requests, with resolved entities reflected in error responses. |
| Improper restriction of XML external entity references in the RemoteQueryCachePlugin in AWS Advanced JDBC Wrapper 3.3.0 through 4.2.0 might allow an actor with write access to the shared cache infrastructure to disclose sensitive files from application hosts that read cached query results, including stored database and IAM role credentials, via crafted XML data in a cached column value.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 4.3.0 or later. |
| libp2p-rendezvous through 0.17.1 fails to validate registration TTL values in discovery responses, allowing attackers to trigger timer arithmetic overflow. A malicious rendezvous server can send a discovery response with an unbounded TTL value that causes the client node process to panic when computing the expiry timer. |
| A flaw was found in RESTEasy's SourceProvider. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to perform an unauthenticated remote file read. By sending a specially crafted XML body with a DOCTYPE declaration referencing external entities to an endpoint that accepts application/xml and returns Source or StreamSource, the server can be tricked into resolving the entity and including sensitive file contents in the HTTP response. This is due to the SourceProvider.writeTo() method creating a SAXParser without disabling external entity resolution, leading to an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability. |

| A symlink-following flaw was found in libvirt's qemuTPMEmulatorPrepareHost() function. The function uses a path-based chown() on the swtpm logfile without checking for symbolic links. A local attacker with access to the swtpm account can replace the logfile with a symlink, causing libvirtd (running as root) to transfer ownership of an arbitrary file to the swtpm user. |

| An XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability exists in the XML collector of multiple versions of OpenNMS Meridian and Horizon. When OpenNMS collects XML from a source whose response is attacker-controlled (for example a compromised monitored host or an HTTP man-in-the-middle position), the collector's XML parser resolves external entities and external DTDs. This allows an attacker to read files accessible to the OpenNMS service account, including database credentials, and to induce out-of-band requests.
The solution is to upgrade to Meridian 2024.3.13, 2025.0.10 and Horizon 36.0.4 or newer. Meridian and Horizon installation instructions state that they are intended for installation within an organization's private networks and should not be directly accessible from the Internet. |

| Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.0 until 0.11.1, role synchronization in backend/open_webui/routers/auths.py and backend/open_webui/utils/oauth.py updated an administrator's database role without invalidating the user record cached by backend/open_webui/socket/main.py. An administrator demoted through a trusted role header or OAuth role mapping could keep an already-open Socket.IO connection and continue reading or editing every user's collaborative notes until that connection closed. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1. |
| ION-DTN before 4.2.1-a.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to crash the ION process by sending a BPv7 bundle with a zero-length payload. The canonicalizePayloadBlock() function in bpsec_util.c passes bundle->payload.length to zco_clone() without validating it against zero, causing a failed CHKZERO assertion that triggers sm_Abort() and terminates the process with SIGABRT before any HMAC verification occurs, requiring no valid key or credential to exploit. |
